Category: Buffy/Angel/Charmed (crossover)
Feedback: Please.
Couplings: There aren't any – this isn't a couple fanfic.
[5 hours after all the tragedy struck in New York, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania.]
[In Sunnydale]
Buffy and the gang were glued to the T.V.
"I can't believe it! For once it isn't a vampire disaster," Anya said.
Everyone turned to stare at her with an evil glare.
"What?" she asked, totally un-knowing.
"No, it's just a human terrorist disaster. Instead, a human being did this or ordered this. Many humans did this. Instead, GOD knows how many are dead by a living being's hands and of course, I wasn't there to help it."
"Would could you have done, Buffy? You save the WORLD from oblivion, not disasters. What could you have done anyway? Learned to fly and stopped the planes?" Xander said with an eerie sense was truth.
"It doesn't matter. I save the world for what, a handful of people to destroy a large part of it in a few hours?"
Everyone sighed, having no answer for her.
[In Los Angeles]
Angel watched the television with horror.
"If I hadn't lived all my years, I would say this isn't possible but anything and everything is possible in this disturbed world," Angel said.
Cordelia, Fred, Gunn, Wesley, and Lorne stared at the T.V., not bothering to reply because in reality, they had to answer to give him.
"For everything we do, all the evil we stop, we can't save people from this. We can't stop this manmade destruction."
They looked up from the T.V. to stare at Angel as his beast took over and he destroyed the desk.
Cordelia didn't even bother to say they didn't have the money to replace that. She was truly horrified.
[In San Francisco]
Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Leo, and Cole watched much like the rest of the world as the twin towers crumbled.
The three girls gasped and cried. They cried for the injustice ness of it and the pain and suffering that the world would feel for a very, very long time to come.
"Everything we do and we can't help anyone from this."
Leo and Cole shook their heads.
"No, you can't," Leo said, kissing the top of Piper's head.
[Personal Notes]
These super people and humans, fictional, could not save the world from what happened. They are not real but we are and we couldn't do anything. Alls we can do is try to pick ourselves up and move on, as hard as that will be and hope, that our government (if your in the U.S.A) will destroy the ones that did this to our beautiful country.
