The Boy Wonder doesn't even know how he got into this mess.
"Are you, um, okay?" Robin said trying to break the awkwardness of this whole situation.
"Do I look okay to you?" Batgirl responded, her voice calm with rage. Having their legs wrapped around each other and her boobs shoved in Robin's face, in a dark cramped space, with the only light being the mini flashlight Robin was holding- and he was asking if she was okay?
"Well, yeah actually," after thinking a moment he bursted, "Batman's gonna to kill me! I can't believe we let Crazy Quilt lock us in this safe!"
Batgirl rolled her eyes at her long time friend, sometimes she thought that boy had his priorities in the wrong place.
"Come on, we might be in here a while, we should get a little more situated," He suggested, the growing flush on his face making him think that being so close to Batgirl's assets wasn't such a good move. His foot had to be on the wall next to her face and she was practically straddling him, but they were more comfortable.
"So..." she began after it being awkwardly silent, " I've always wondered: What's with the pixie boots and short pants?"
"It makes bad guys think I'm just some goofy kid. Their underestimation gives me an extra element of surprise."
"That's weird," she said taking the information in.
"Says the girl in canary yellow go-go boots," Robin smiled as he saw her blush and look away. When it got quiet, he started to notice things about Batgirl, or Barbara, that he never saw before. For one it was her skin, what he could see of it, and how he never noticed the spray of freckles that played across her face or how beautifully soft her hair was...
"Wow...you smell nice," he thought allowed, not realizing what he said until,
"That better be your utility belt pushing against my leg."
"What? What are you talking about?"
Batgirl smiled which in turn made Robin smile. Suddenly they heard a knock.
"Robin? Batgirl?"
"We're in here Batman!" Robin yelled, thankful to his mentor's timing. After they got out, Robin had slouched and covered himself with his cap oddly, while Batgirl excitedly said,
"Batman! Thank goodness!"
"Are you alright Batgirl?" He asked placing a hand on her shoulder while looking at his other rather occupied sidekick.
"Nothing a little stretching won't fix! Where's Crazy Quilt?" Batman gestured towards the tied up man dressed in a rainbow of colors,
"Right here. He rear-ended an ice-cream truck. Just a concussion. Robin, you okay?"
Robin raised his head quickly at the sound of his name, Batgirl ran over to check on Crazy Quilt. Once she was gone, he didn't crouch so much but still made sure his cap covered the majority of his body.
"Um, it's nothing."
"You're sure?"
Robin smiled the same smile he had shown Batman when he first discovered the Batcave on accident. Batman had gotten the message and smiled to himself,
"Batgirl, why don't you help me take Crazy Quilt to the Arkham Asylum? Robin needs to finish up something at the Batcave."
AN:
This was based off a real comic online about Batgirl and Robin. I thought their romance section was lacking in the T department so voila! I love how in all the comics it's Robin who gets flustered by Batgirl but in most of the Fanfiction is the other way around. Gotta love life that way.
