--DEALING--
Just after Grissom left, Nick entered the locker room. He saw Sara sitting glumly on the bench, "You OK Sara?" he asked softly.
"Not really, I thought that I was helping her and that she was the victim, yet it was her." Sara's voice trailed off.
Nick sat down beside her, "Sometimes, helping someone can bring out a terrible truth," he said.
Sara laughed bitterly, "Grissom said something like that before you came in. Sometimes I wish that I didn't have friends, that way my trust in someone would not be broken."
"Sara, friends are important. Was Melissa someone you were glad to know before you found out that she was the one who killed her husband?"
"Yeah," she admitted.
"People have their secrets, both good and bad, you just have to learn how to deal with them when they are revealed to you."
"I know that, but it hurts."
Nick stood up and held out a hand, "That's life. Enough of the depressing talk Sara, let me buy you some dinner cheer you up."
Sara gave a small smiled, "Sure why not." She held out her hand and let him pull her up. Sara then followed Nick out of the locker room.
