Hehehe. I was trying to come up with new ideas for stories, and this little gem popped into my mind. All you Mikey lovers, this one's for you!
Disclaimer: Not mine!
CICICICICICICICICICICICI
"Mike! Get in here!" Carolyn yelled from their kitchen.
At his name, he turned away from the football game he was watching. He knew that tone. He was in trouble. As innocently as he could, he asked, "What do you need, Carolyn?"
"Get in here, now!" she yelled again, her voice more shrill this time.
Worried, he stood up and trotted into the kitchen, surprised and somewhat amused when he saw his tough as nails, hard ass partner standing on their kitchen table, her arms crossed tightly over her chest.
Trying to hide his amusement, he took a step closer. "What is it, babe?"
She pointed a shaking finger at the floor. "There's a damn cockroach in my kitchen, Mike! Kill it!"
He looked in the direction her finger was pointing. "A roach? Is that what all the fuss is about?"
She glared at him. "If you ever want to get some again, Logan, kill the damn thing!"
He walked over and approached the insect, bringing his foot down to crush it. But he missed, and the little vermin scurried under the table.
Carolyn shrieked, and Mike snickered. The woman dealt with the most vicious criminals and perverts every day. But a little bug scared the living daylights out of her...
Pulling up the legs of her pants, she looked around frantically, then extended her arms out to Mike.
She reminded him of a small child, and he walked over to the table and scooped her up into his arms, holding her against his chest.
She snuggled down into his arms, shuddering as she saw the demon creature scurry across the kitchen floor. Burying her face in his chest, she muttered, "That thing had better be gone by tomorrow, or you're sleeping on the couch for a year."
He chuckled and kissed the top of her head, squeezing her gently. She didn't give him the opportunity to protect her that often, and he loved playing the knight in shining armor. He carried her into the bedroom, ignoring her weak protests as he laid her down on the bed and began kissing her neck.
And from their door, a pair of expressive brown eyes watched them. Tilting his head to the side, Buster stayed in the door for a minute, then trotted out of the room.
The End
A/N: Before ya'll ask, yes, Buster is the puppy from Puppy Love. I thought that would be a cute little addition to throw in there. And all my Bobby lovers, never fear! I've got a little Bobby story already planned. Just gotta write it. I hope ya'll enjoyed this, and please remember to review!
