Come Homefanfic:
I climbed out my window being as quite as possible. Knowing if my Mom caught me, it wouldn't be good. I carried a brown paper bag with me, for Vanessa.
I walked down the side of the house, to the gate. I opened it slowly hoping it wouldnt squeak, like it had most of the time.
It was warm outside, though it was pitch black out. I stumbled onto the sidewalk and made my way down the street.
My legs were moving quickly, but I couldnt slow down. I had to get there and back without anyone seeing me. My Mom knew way to many people.
It probably seemed like I was running away or going to sell drugs. But...I wasnt.
I had walked about two blocks now and was walking down the dark street. I could see the house now. There were a couple people stumbling out, and a couple others fighting.
I put my bag under my jacket. I had brought my jacket for this exact reason, to hide what I had. Even though it wouldnt matter much to anyone, it wouldnt stop them from attacking me. They may of thought it was something it wasnt. I approached the house, walking in cautiously. I ran up the stairs bumping into a couple people.
There was stuff all over the floors, clothing, take-put containers, anything you can imagine.
I got to the end of the hall, to the last room. I opened the door slowly and then entered. There was used needles all over the floor, and condoms everywhere you looked. There was two matresses against the wall. Then there was two on the floor. Vanessa was asleep on one of them near the window.
Vanessa had light brown hair that was pulled back into a messy ponytail, and light skin.
I walked over to here and shook her lightly.
"Vanessa?" I whispered shaking her again.
"Rory?"
She questioned, waking up.
"Hey." I smiled helping her sit up."I brought you something to eat."
I pulled out my brown paper bag. I took the sandwhich out, that i had made earlier.
"What kind is it?" She asked as I
handed it to her.
"Peanut butter and jelly." I replied
as she started unwrapping it.
"Thanks." She stuttered
taking a huge bite of it.
I sat at the end of her matress, watching her eat it.
"Here."
I handed her the money, that was also in the bag.
"I know its not
much-" I began, but she cut me off.
"Its enough."
I sighed looking around the room, as she continued to eat.
"Vanessa, you need to go home." I looked at her.
"No."
"Vanessa, your Mom wants you home."
"I dont care."
I understood why she didnt care. Her Mom didnt once go out looking for her.
"Fine, but your only 15 you cant keep living here."
She looked away from me.
"Thanks for the money, and the sandwhich. I'll
see you tomorrow, Rory."
"Va-" I began but I knew
it was worthless. "Bye."
I got up walking out of the room and down the hall.
