Severus threw his hands up in frustration. "Bloody hell Hermione!" He exclaimed. They were supposed to leave nearly twenty minutes ago, but Hermione being Hermione, had been giving the babysitter instructions for the last half an hour.

"Oh and don't forget to make sure the food is cut up in really small pieces for Emma, but not too small!"

"Hermione enough! I'm sure that Holly can handle the kids for a while, she has four brothers herself." He reminded her.

"I know that! But it's been a long time since the boys were little and-"

"Enough." He grabbed his wife's hand and tugged them out of the room ignoring Hermione's sounds of protest. "Holly can handle them."

"But what if-"

"No." He interrupted her. "We are going to have a nice dinner, then maybe take a walk and not worry about the kids for a while."

"But what if Jackie eats peanut butter!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Then Holly will stab him with the epi-pen." He responds curtly.

"What if Emma starts crying?" She asks glancing back as if she could peer through the thick stone walls and check on their one year old daughter.

"Then Holly will change her nappy."

"What if Eva chokes on her dinner?"

"Holly will give her the heimlich."

"What if Jackie falls off his broom and hits his head?" She shrieks.

"I locked it away."

"What if Eva hits Jackie?"

"Then Holly will ground her."

"What if-" Hermione began, Severus growled and glared at her.

"No more 'what ifs." None."

"But-" Hermione began.

"None."

"Sev-"

"No."

"Sever-"

"Nope."

"Severus-"

"No."

"Sev-"

"No."

"Sev-"

"NO."

"Severus I need to go home."

"Hermione the kids are fine!" Severus threw his hands up in the air in frustration.

"That's not the reason why." Hermione said impatiently.

"Then what is is!?" He exclaimed turning to face her.

"...I forgot my purse."

Severus let out a little scream.
