The Dating Game
One day Jerry was making a cake for George's upcoming birthday. Jerry was throwing him a surprise birthday party tonight and had been getting ready all day. People were going to start showing up soon so he didn't have a lot of time.
Everyone had shown up, and George was just coming up to Jerry's apartment.
"Everyone quiet" Jerry whispered loudly.
The door opened.
"Hello? … Jerry?"
"Surprise!"
"What? For me?"
"Yes of course it is."
"Happy birthday!"
"Well, thanks."
Elaine and Kramer walked over to where Jerry and George were standing.
"Happy Birthday George!" They said.
"Yeah, yeah" George replied.
"We have some news to tell you" Elaine said cheerfully.
"Kramer and I are dating" She smiled.
"What!" Jerry said.
"Yeah, we hooked up last night when we went out for dinner" Kramer said.
Jerry pulls Kramer aside.
"Why are you going out with Elaine you know I have wanted to get with her for a while now?" Jerry said angrily.
"Well I really like her and she's the first girlfriend I have had in a while." Kramer replied.
"Fine, it's fine" Jerry said clenching his teeth.
The rest of the party went smoothly but Jerry was puzzled to figure out a way to get Elaine to date him instead. He could bring one of her old boyfriends back to town. No, he had a better idea. The next day, Jerry was going to go down to the diner and ask Betty, on of the waitresses that had been flirting with him for a while to go out with him. It was a date; they were going to go out tomorrow night with Kramer and Elaine.
The nest night Elaine had bought a gorgeous black sequin dress and she thought she looked pretty good. When Jerry saw her he gasped, but said this to Betty instead.
"Wow, you look nice" Jerry complimented.
"Thanks" Betty said smiling.
Elaine glared at him. In was working. He was making her jealous. Once they got to the restaurant it was all downhill. Jerry and Elaine trying to make each other jealous. Jerry would put his arm around Betty, Elaine would put Kramer's arm around her. This went back and forth throughout the whole meal.
"Well, that was nice, wasn't it?" Jerry said to them.
"Oh yeah just a blast," Betty said annoyingly.
"So betty would you like to come up to my apartment?" Jerry said with a smile.
"Um I think I'll take a rain check, I'm kind of tired" Betty said.
"Oh I see, well some other time then" said Jerry.
"Yeah" Betty said, unsure.
The next day Jerry was in Kramer's apartment getting some food when the phone rang. He thought her should probably answer it since Kramer was in the shower.
"Hello."
"Jerry? This is Elaine."
"Oh hey, Kramer's in the shower right now but I can leave him a message."
"Yeah that would be great can you tell him I'm going to have to meet him earlier tonight because I have plans at 6:30 when we were supposed to meet."
"Oh yes I will tell him alright."
"Thanks Jerry."
"Yeah, bye."
Kramer walks in.
"What are you doing here?" Kramer said confused.
"I needed some food" Jerry told him.
"Oh, who was that on the phone?" Kramer asked.
"Some telemarketer" Jerry said.
"Oh I hate those people!" Kramer protested.
"Yeah me too, I'll see you later. Thanks for the food" Jerry said.
"Yeah, anytime" Kramer replied.
Jerry's plan was to make Elaine mad at Kramer for not showing up, for her to break up with him and then get Elaine for himself.
