Star trekked through the hallway, watching as Marco walked off with Jackie. Darn homework assignment. Pairing random people off together. Poor Marco. Why couldn't he see that Jackie was in to some 'Bruce' kid? Not that Star minded of course. Much...

Above her head, a speaker crackled. "Attention. Could Star Butterfly please come to the principle' s office immediately?" Star ran ahead to the first door she had ever entered on Earth excitedly. She knocked rapidly before just walking in anyway.

"Hi Sir! What is it?" She beamed as she rocked on her heels. Her eyes drifted to a new kid. Tall black hair jetting up slightly in a style of a scythe; brown eyes behind gleaming glasses. He had his arms crossed over his chest almost bored expression on his face. "This..." Her headmaster gestured to the kid slumping in the chair next to him. "... is Dib Membrane. He's been sent here to be toned down for his 'crazy paranormal junk' -"

"It's not junk! It's real! I have proof! Real scientific proof-" Dib yelled, his eyebrows creasing in to a frown. The principal shot him a glare before continuing.

"Anyway, his father believes it would be best for him to stay here for a while. Normally I would have Marco tour him round, being the 'safe kid', but I think this young man needs your positive attitude towards life to get the full enjoyment of Echo Creek."

"I'd love to! Come on Dib!" Star grabbed Dib and darted out of the office before he could protest.

"And here is where you sign up for various clubs!" Star gestured to the large board layered with posters and messy handwriting. Don stared at it closely, reading each title.

"Is there a paranormal club?" He asked hopefully.

"No not really. There's a scary movie club on Fridays though... "

"Oh..." Dib looked disappointed but said nothing else.

"I know how you feel. I was so upset when I discovered that Earth had no unicorns..."

"Wait... You're an alien?!" Dib shrieked, whipping his camera from around his neck. Finally! Some paranormal activity!

"No... I'm a magical princess from another dimension!" Star giggled as she watched Dib's eye twitch. "That's the end of tour! See ya around new friend!" Star skipped off whilst Dib backed away from her before turning and running off in the opposite direction as fast as he could.

Dib looked worryingly inside the class room. On the desk sat a giant green troll painting its toes. Star waved at him and part of him was relieved. "You! Why are you late?!" The troll bellowed.

"I'm new here and I got lost. Please don't send me to the underground classroom!" The class laughed at Dib as he blushed from embarrassment. On second thoughts, the underground classroom seemed like a better option... The teacher pointed to a seat. "Sit there and get on with the work. I don't want to hear a word from you until you're spoken to! Understand?" Dib gulped, nodding before sitting down.

This was gonna be a looooong term...
