Picture Perfect:
Molly smiled in delight as she looked at the muggle camera her grandfather had given her. She was in love with it. She loved the way muggles seemed to be able to capture a moment without the subject moving in it afterwards. She giggled excitedly as she looked around the room at her cousins, wondering who to snap a picture of first.
Looking across the room she spotted her cousin, Roxanne, sitting near Dominque. Both girls were on the Quidditch team at school and had rather a lot to talk about. Roxanne's caramel colored skin glowed against the lighting of the tree she sat next to. Her ebony colored hair glowed, showing a few red highlights and casting a gold halo, making her look like an angel to Molly.
Molly licked her lips as she stared at her. She though Roxanne was absolutely beautiful. She was ashamed to admit it, but earlier this year once school had started, she had realized that she was in love with her cousin. There was nothing wrong with being in love with her cousin she knew, people married their cousins a lot, but it was the fact that her cousin was female that made her feel ashamed.
She was a year older than Roxanne; the two had grown up together along with all their other cousins. However, Molly was always the quite one, always studying while Roxanne was very athletic and enjoyed playing Quidditch. Molly had always been slightly jealous, wishing that she could play Quidditch as well, but she stuck to studying and muggle things.
Lifting her camera up she focused on her cousins, they would be perfect subjects for her first photo shoot. She snapped their pictures and smiled as she looked at them on review. Dominique looked stunning, as always but that could have also been because of her veela genes. Roxanne, on the other hand, looked stunning; a grin had graced her lips, head cocked to the side, hair falling like a waterfall over her shoulder.
Molly smiled a bit to herself. It seemed to capture Roxanne and her loud personality well. She had never thought it would be possible to do such a thing, but it was. She was brought out of her trance when she heard her mother speaking to her. "What kinds of pictures are you going to take with your camera sweetie?" Audrey asked, leaning closer to Molly to get a good look at her camera.
The sixteen-year-old girl only shrugged at her mother's question. "Didn't really think of it," she smiled a bit. "I guess we'll wait and see. I mean maybe I'll take some pictures of the school or maybe some animals or maybe even people."
A small chuckle escaped her mother's lips. "Well dear, I'm sure whatever you take a picture of will turn out just perfectly."
'If it's Roxanne it should turn out perfect every time.' Molly added as a thought inside her head. She didn't say this out loud to her mother however; she couldn't risk that being taken any other way, not yet at least. However, she only smiled more. "Thanks Mum, I'm sure I'll find a perfect subject worth taking, something that's picture perfect." As she spoke her eyes fell back onto her cousins, she made brief contact with Roxanne's chocolate brown eyes before she looked back down at her camera fumbling with it a bit.
To Molly, Roxanne would be the picture perfect subject she was looking for. She knew the pictures would turn out perfect every time.
AN: Short but I like it. I dunno, if this gets a good response I may write a longer Molly/Roxanne fic. Dunno where it came from but I ship em and never seen any fanfics for em but here we are. Proud to call this one the first one for the pair of em, on here at least. There may be others but yeah. Hope you enjoyed it.
