Behold the power of... soil?

The sun set low, as the soft twilight colors spread across the small valley. They cast a sense of calm over the expansive valley dotted with dormitory housing. Welcome to Sunshine Hills Anime Retirement Community. This is the place you go when your series has ended. Here you live out your lives in peace, and contentment... well mostly if you can ignore the occasional explosion, and don't mind the property damage caused by mecha battles. In one such house, the fading day was not enough to distract from the fear and horror experienced by one of it's residents.

After an hour of begging, and pleading Miharu turns big, helpless eyes on her housemate as she clutches desperately at his sleeve. "Please mister Kaze, help me?" after a moment of Kaze's trademark blank expression, the words are spoken "It has moved" in Kaze's usual ominous tone. "SOIL IS MY POWER!" Bellows forwarth from the kitchen, causing heads to turn in curiosity, and shock. Sanzo looks up from his book and turns to Kino... The androgynous woman has resumed cleaning her Ranger. "What was that?" He asks her. "The Magun has thawed" is heard from beyond the kitchen door. "Kaze has found a new use for the Magun" Kino responds. "What use is there for a gun in the kitchen?" "I guess we are about to find out" She seems unconcerned. "No good can come of this. I'll be out back until it's over." With that said he marks his place in the book and leaves.

Back in the kitchen Miharu looks before her in wonder, her hands clasped before her in worry. "The soil charge triad I shall use has been decided!" Kaze reaches for his bullets. "The maiden that rots the teeth of children, sugar white. The subtle flavor of nothingness, vanilla yellow. And finally, the sweet tartness of a crimson fruit, raspberry red. Delight. I SUMMON YOU! RASPBERRY CAKE!" Outside, Sanzo looks up as Tohru enters the yard. The girl child waves good-bye to the two boys that had escorted her home with a call of "Try not to kill each other please" She turns to Sanzo and blinks in supprise. "Mr. Sanzo. What are you doing out at this hour?" Her question is answered by the kitchen exploding. "Oh! OK, then. I hope noone was hurt." They step into the house just as the smoke had begun to clear, and joined Kino to stare at the catastrophe that used the be the kitchen. All that remains is scattered debris of unedibles, such as silverware and appliances, that Miharu decided her stomach couldn't process... And one really big raspberry cake. Miharu turns from where she had already began to consume the enormous confection. There is a big smile on her face, and Kaze looking about as smug as he is capable. He turns to a flabbergasted Tohru, and briefly apologizes for the mess. Tohru looks at him and smiles "Oh no, don't worry Mr. Kaze. I've cleaned worse. I used to live with Shigure and Yuki." Miharu, with a mouth full of cake grins and looks up at Sanzo. "Gee Mr. Sanzo. You were wrong. This cake is very good.
