Here's another poem…
Read, Enjoy and Review!
xxXxx
(Tawni's hatred of how her reflection lies, how it makes her seem perfect and happy…)
Deceitful Reflection
The mirror…
It LIES!
LIES!
LIES!
LIES!
That's all it has ever done…
My soul…
It DIES!
DIES!
DIES!
DIES!
Until it is you that has won…
"HELP ME!"
I plead…
"SAVE ME!"
I Pray…
But no-one comes with a hand to lend…
You lie,
I die.
You were once a dear friend…
You lie,
I die.
My heart you could mend…
You lie,
I die.
But, you always win in the end…
You lie,
I die.
It's a sick cycle…
We can start anew,
If you come to my rescue…
Save me from this life…
From this pain and this strife…
I'm begging on my knees…
Be my hero…
Please?
I need a fresh start,
Time to cleanse my heart…
I must wash away the pain and sorrow,
Even if it is tattered again by the morrow…
SHOW THE TRUTH!
I'm begging you…
So,
Take your time…
And read this rhyme…
And lend me some mercy this once…
No longer masked with deceit!
Only one of us will shatter,
My heart,
Or…
The mirror that you are?
Only time will tell…
So,
Do not dwell…
For now…
You are still my…
Cruel,
Unfair,
Brutal,
Deceitful Reflection.
But, only for now…
