A/N: The italics aren't the narrator or anything, I'm just breaking the rules of writing stories and poems ^^"
"No! No, it wasn't me!" My echoing voice calls for you to listen for once, "How could you think that I would do this? The amazing-!" you dare ignore me; you dare silence my pleas,
"Shut up! We've had it up to here with you, Zim!" why won't you listen? I promise I don't lie,
"You've completely destroyed Irk!" all you seem to do is steal everything, you thieves,
"The Tallest are correct, this cannot be overlooked. You have done many things, but this is by far the worst," you steal my hopes, my dreams, my home and now my life... "You are a Defective!"
Point your finger, if you can handle whatever happens next!
"Understand that you had be deactivated immediately, Zim," for, if guilt doesn't grasp you, something far worse will, "So, bye-bye!"
"No, please, my Tallest!" I may be halfway to the grave, but I won't stop fighting, not yet... "It wasn't me! That Tak! She tricked me!" I'm a fool, but my empty place shall be hard to fill,
"You could at least make up a better excuse," though it seems you'll only know that when I'm already gone...
"It's true!"
But don't leave me! Don't believe in those lies!
"Two minutes remaining," I'm sorry for all the bad things I have done,
"My Tallest!" and, yes, there is an appalling amount them,
"Can it, Zim," but believe me when I say: this is not one!
"I wouldn't lie to you!" punish me for the rest, please!
"For your life, you would."
A bad reputation I have earned,
"No... no..." but as I give my final stand,
"He's going! After all these years!" can I ask you for a small favour?
"One minute remaining," as I leave you, please hold my hand,
"Finally!" I'm not as strong as I may seem,
"My... Tallest..." and I need someone to comfort me, "I have failed you... sorry..."
Like the friend I never had...
"Zim has successfully been deactivated."
A/N: (wipes tear away from eye) poor Zimmers... ANYWAY! This is a poem I made up, and I thought 'hey, this is sort of Zim-like'. Well... sort of... and if you're wondering who all the characters in the story were, they're Zim, Red, Purple and a Control Brain.
Here's the poem by itself:
My echoing voice calls for you to listen for once,
You dare ignore me; you dare silence my pleas,
Why won't you listen? I promise I don't lie,
All you seem to do is steal everything, you thieves,
You steal my hopes, my dreams, my home, and now my life...
Point your finger, if you can handle whatever happens next!
For, if guilt doesn't grasp you, something far worse will,
I may be halfway to the grave, but I won't stop fighting, not yet...
I'm a fool, but my empty place shall hard to fill,
Though it seems you'll only know that when I'm already gone...
But don't leave me! Don't believe in those lies!
I'm sorry for all the bad things I have done,
And, yes, there is an appalling amount them,
But believe me when I say: this is not one!
Punish me for the rest, please!
A bad reputation I have earned,
But as I give my final stand,
Can I ask you for a small favour?
As I leave you, please hold my hand,
I'm not as strong as I may seem, and I need someone to comfort me,
Like the friend I never had...
