Hello again! Another one of Pixies drabbles here. We both really appreciate all of the feedback and reviews, thank you all so much! :) This is a day in the life of Chekov and Sulu.

Pavel always fell asleep with an arm thrown over Hikaru and his head resting at the base of Hikaru's neck. He curled around Hikaru during the night, seeking warmth from olive skin and a muscled body. Bright eyes closed in sleep, lean arms and legs extended in grace, and hair as curly and unruly as ever; Pavel was adorable even while asleep.

Hikaru loved the way Pavel rested and fit perfectly in his arms. On nights where they fell asleep later, either after watching one of Pavel's favorite movies or after more...human urges, Hikaru would nestle his chin and nose into the top of Pavel's head, breathing in the scent of his hair. It was love, it was home, it was family. A hint of Russia, a pinch of innocence, a dash of spunk. Add in fierce loyalty and continuous determination, and this was Pavel, in essence and spirit. Hikaru loved each aspect of this personality, and reminded Pavel of this at every possible moment. He whispered it in Pavel's ear before beaming, he whispered it during their shift just to see Pavel turn a pretty shade of pink and smile back, and he whispered it to Pavel after making love. Pavel was his sun, his moon, his stars. Hikaru revolved around Pavel, Pavel revolved around Hikaru, and Pavel brought light and happiness into Hikaru's life.

Every morning when the alarm went off at promptly 0530 Pavel groaned and possessively curled around Hikaru to stop him from turning off the alarm and leaving him cold. The alarm would ring for a few more seconds, just until Hikaru couldn't stand it, then it didn't matter how cold Pavel would be; that god awful noise had to be stopped. After a morning shower, either together or apart, depending on the mood, they'd sit down to eat a quick breakfast. Pavel and Hikaru learned long ago that taking time to shower together, cuddle, and then eat would make them late to the bridge, a humiliation neither wanted to experienced ever again. Wolf-whistles from Kirk and smiling sideways glances from Uhura wasn't the way to start out a day well.

They'd walk to the turbolift together at 0615, and arrive at the bridge no later than 0625. The long turbolift rides may or may not be connected to the slightly ruffled hair Pavel has walked onto the bridge with - on multiple occasions. During their shift, while looking very busy, Hikaru and Pavel would message each other on their consoles, discreetly trying to cover it up, though the entire bridge crew knew about it. Kirk even caught them playing an old game - Battleship - once. He had the game projected onto the view screen to amuse the rest of the bridge crew, because, for once, no Klingons, no Romulans, or any other creatures were attempting to blow them out of the sky. In their quarters after their shift, the two would joke around, play videogames, watch a movie, or just talk.

Pavel and Hikaru were a match made in some form of heaven, two halves of a whole, one complete love. And when Pavel fell asleep on Hikaru, those were the thoughts that floated through his mind.
