"Even in the darkest of times, there is still a dim light somewhere that one has to find, and when one finds it, it is only a matter of time before the darkness is defeated," I told my best friend as he stood over his four poster bed and down on to a photo of his deceased godfather "remember that Harry." He looked up as if wanting to say something but looked back down his face crestfallen. "Harry," I added "I don't have to go to super I'm not"-

"No," Harry interrupted "you go, I'll be fine." I knew he wasn't but I also knew he needed to be alone. I turned to leave but he stopped me "oh and Hermione?" I stopped and turned to smile up at him.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Thank you for everything, for being my friend in the dark times," he paused before adding "when everything seemed to have ended before it started."

"Harry, I love you and I don't want you to feel what he wants you to feel," I stated "you aren't alone."

With that I left him and headed for super.
