A pleasant dream, a feeling of comfort. This place is familiar, somewhere I know.
It is my own home.

He wanders to the other side of the room, exploring the limitations of this fantastical world. A deep part of his unconscious self registered that this was not what his real home looked like, but the nagging feeling was forced away by the still-strong sense of familiarity.
He walks outside of this house, stepping into a new environment. This is not his village, it is somewhere else. Some place from his childhood. He hears a noise behind him, and turns to see the looming figure of an evil being.
Ganon.

He gasps inwardly, but the noise feels audible. He waits for the dark being to turn on him and attack him…scarred, unarmed. But he does not turn. The enemy stands, chanting incomprehensible words. The other watches, listening intently. What an odd dream. It feels much too real. What is going on?
Ganon goes silent; an aura of dark power surrounds him. The three triangles on his hand glow ominously, displaying his goddess-given power.
Suddenly, he is pulled from the scene, Ganondorf's terrifying presence no longer haunting him. He now viewed the whole of Hyrule from a vantage point in the sky. He watched as, slowly, darkness fell over Hyrule.
A darkness he had seen once before, that had nearly destroyed Hyrule years ago.
A darkness that was not entirely darkness.
