DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN LEGEND OF THE SEEKER, I JUST ADORE THE SHOW! PLZ R&R!

As Kahlan sat near the fire, she reminisced about the journey her life had been. She escaped through the boundary in search of the hero she had heard stories of from the time she could remember. She had fallen in love with the person the stories had portrayed, the kind, gentle hero that would save all the world from the tyranny of an oppressive dictator, what she didn't anticpate was falling in love with the person himself. Richard Cypher Rhal was everything she could have ever dreamed of in a life companion, the way he looked at her set her body a flame with a passion she had never known. She wondered if this is how the people she confessed felt toward her. But she knew that if she were to give into those feelings that she would forever lose the man that she fell in love with and that shared her feelings. She had consoled herself to the fact that she would love this man in her heart and mind, and would die for this man and him like wise.

Turning her eyes she looked at the woman clad in red leather, the woman that even though she was taught to hate from early on, had become a very dear friend to her and that she would love as the sister she had lost. She remembered finding out that this woman had been the one to kill her little sister, and slipping into the condar, wanting to rip this woman to shreds. Now she would die to protect her friend.

"What are you thinking about dear one?" the voice of the aged Wizard Zed had asked, waking her from her daydream. "Oh, nothing," she replied smiling, "just thinking that if my mother was here she could help me control my power, I wish there was some way that I could control this power." She replied exasperated.

As she finished her sentence the wind began to rip through the trees, and the fire seemed to glow with an unearthly light. "I believe that I can help you with that," came a soft, melodic voice. Out of the fire walked a beautiful woman, clad in a white gown that was one worn by a Mother Confessor. "Mother?" "Sarafayne?" came both Zed's and Kahlan's astonished voices.

"Yes my darling daughter, I have come to help you harness your gift, but also to deliever some news." The woman Sarafayne, stood about Kahlan's height with flowing blond hair that looked like liquid sunlight, her white confessors gown glowing with a light of its own. Her blue eyes, the same blue as her daughters glistened with pride as she smiled at her long lost daughter.

"How is it that you are here Momma?" Kahlan asked, tears flowing down her face. "There has been a prophecy, 'The one who seeks the truth will perish with the one he loves by his side, the only way to prevent this is to unite the Power of Truth, with the power of love, power of song, and power of Vision.' "I am not sure as to what the Power of song means, but as to the other two well they are here. You my darling are the power of love. The Condar, is the power of love and as the only living Confessor with this gift, the creator thought that it should be I who taught you how to harness it. She has bent the fabric of time to allow this one night for me to teach you how to harness it, but this is the only time that I will be able to help you. She has also asked me to show you to the second power. The power of Vision. But that is to come later, for now we have a lot to disscuss and cover before the morning sun is to shine."

Kahlan stood schocked at the thought of losing the man she loved more than life itself, she nodded her head a look of pure determination on her beautiful, face. "Let us begin mother."
