Katara should've known better. Betting with Toph was never a good thing.

That's how she ended up tipsy in the first place.

"Heeeey... Sokka!" She was slurring her words together; Thank you alcohol.

"Katara...? You okay?" His protective older-brother instincts were kicking in. "Have... Have you been drinking?"

"Heh... Maybalittle!"

Then Toph stumbled in, 10x more drunk than Katara.

"I AM MELON LORD!"

Suki, who had been quietly giggling in the corner, burst out laughing. Aang sighed.

"Toph, Katara; Why have you been drinking? It's very bad for you, you know. It's-"

"AANGY!"

Toph suddenly threw herself on top of Aang.

The Gaang was in a private dining room in the Fire Lord's palace. It was a few months after the war had ended. The peace treaties were going very well, and Zuko was having a party to celebrate. The entire world was invited. Literally.

So when a few rowdy boys started a drinking game, Toph OF COURSE had to join in. And somehow convinced Katara into doing so, too.

The Gaang was a shocked at Toph's bold move. Aang was shocked stock-still under Toph's form hugging his.

"Ya know, Itinkyurcut!"

Sokka joined Suki in her giggle fit. Katara started dancing for no apparent reason, to the muffled tune that was playing in the other room. Aang regained his senses and gently pushed Toph off him.

"Toph... I think we need to get you to bed."

"Ta bed wit da hell! Wait... That's not right." Toph started giggling uncontrollably and joined Katara in her dancing.

"Daaaaaa dada daaaaaaaa dada daaaaaaaaaa!" they sang loudly while spinning around the room. Katara pulled Sokka and Suki up, and started a spinning circle. Toph joined in, and despite himself, Aang joined, laughing.

"WHEEEE!"

Zuko chose that moment to walk in.

"Hey, guys! We've been-"

He stopped and stared at the spinning, laughing group.

Smiling, he asked, "Looks like fun. Can I join?"

Soon they were all dancing around, laughing their butts off. If a servant had walked in, he might have demanded to know where they'd taken the real Fire Lord Zuko. But for now, they weren't disturbed. Unbeknownst to them, a certain old man was watching them through a peephole.

"Good to know my nephew is finally happy," Iroh smiled to himself.
