A/N: This is a poem I wrote after reading Twilight. It's a mix of several scenes, including the well known one on pg.275, I think. Tell me if I got that wrong, I'm lending out my copy of Twilight and can't check. R&R please, I want your opinion. Even if you think it sucks!
You look out your window
Out into the pitch black night
You search the black green forest
Eager to see me again
I meet your gaze with begging eyes
You laugh and open your window wide
I climb in, laughing with you
We sit and chat
Wasting away the night in pointless chatter
Then you kiss me
My heart does back flips
You say I love you
I say you mean everything to me now
I kiss you again
You forget to breath, and faint
Then you fall asleep in my arms, still laughing
I whisper words of comfort and joy in your ear
You hug me tighter and mumble my name in your sleep
I smile and the world seems so much brighter
