Kate turned the corner and looked up at the building. She sighed and walked towards the door. She smiled at the doorman and kept walking. Only when she stood in the elevator did she realize what she was doing. She almost pressed the close button when she reached his floor, but instead forced herself to keep moving, to keep on walking towards that door, to his door. She knocked and waited. After doing the same thing five times she took the key from the 'hidden' spot next to the door and opened it. She ventured around, looking around corners and calling out before she went through a door. Eventually she dropped down on the couch and waited. An hour later she was jolted from a doze at the sound of keys being put in a lock. She stood up and started towards the door when Castle came walking in, his arm around a blonde woman at his side.. Kate stood in the center of the room and looked at them.

"Beckett? What are you doing here?" He slurred turning on the light. She shook her head and pushed past him and Blondie, trying to hold back her tears. "Beckett? Kate?" He called after her. "Sarah, uh..stay here for a second." He said, pushing his date down on to the couch. Without waiting for a response he ran after Kate, catching up with her just before the door of the elevator closed, he slipped in next to her, ignoring her quiet curse. "Kate, why are you at my house at eleven o'clock at night?" He asked her, holding her arms. She turned away from his questioning gaze.

"Nothing, I was, I was just being silly." She muttered as the doors opened again and she rushed out. She ran to the door and cursed when she saw the rain pouring down. She heard the sound of his feet behind and pushed the door open. In seconds she was soaked through and felt more miserable than before.

"Kate! What are you doing?" Castle shouted from behind her, standing in the shelter of the doorway.

"I was here for you, Castle. You! We've been growing apart, and no matter how much you tell me that we're fine, I know we're not. I know that something happened, and I don't know what it is!" She shouted, ignoring the rain.

"So why are you here?" He asked again. No matter how much she begged for his forgiveness it doesn't justify what she did to him. She looked at him, the tears coming faster.

"I wanted to know if I waited too long." She said simply, wiping her eyes, her cold, cop exterior coming down. His heart broke as he watched her. In two quick strides he had her in his arms, his head resting on top of hers, his wet hair mixing with hers.

"Waited too long for what." He murmured. Mentally crossing his fingers, his toes, and anything else he could cross.

"Waited to long to tell you I love you." She whispered. Looking down at her feet, then back up at him. Her hair was plastered to her head, her eyes and nose were red, her makeup smudged, but in that moment her swore she had never looked more beautiful.

"I will always wait for you Kate. Always." Her face broke out in a smile bigger than any she'd ever given him before. He leaned down and after a moments hesitation kissed her. Her hands went around his neck, his around her waist. After what felt like an eternity they came out for breath. They kept their foreheads together and looked at each other, smiling.

"Always?" Beckett asked, her voice low.

"Always." He answered.

Kinda cheesy I know, but I needed to get that out. While writing this I came up with the idea of making a little story for each letter of the alphabet. It's been done before, I know, but I wanted to try it. Let me know you think of this and if I should continue.
