...And on that fateful day, Arthur and his brave knights faced a dreaded foe…the infamous rabbit of Caerbannog. Long had this creature been a blight upon the land. Its fearsomeness was only outweighed by its deadliness, and its deadliness was only outweighed by its fearsomeness.

In his infinite wisdom, Arthur did call for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, and from the Book of Armaments, his loyal follower did read:

"And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'"

But then a grave mistake Arthur made. As told by the only survivor of the incident, Arthur did err in his counting:

"One…two…five!" he shouted.

"Three, sir!" a loyal knight corrected him.

"Oh, sh…!"

KABOOM

And thus ended the lives of Arthur and his brave knights.

And so too did end the life of the fearsome rabbit of Caerbannog.

For as the holy text doth say, "Close shall surely count in both horseshoes and hand grenades."
