Well, I wanted to write an Adamandriel fic and this was what I came up with. I don't know exactly how Winnie the Pooh ended up in this, but it did. (Just a side note: I watched Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day a few weeks ago and I'm half convinced that the writers were high when they made the part where Pooh was dreaming about the heffalumps and woozels.) Thanks and enjoy Winnie the What?

Winnie the What?

Samandriel and Adam were sitting in a cheap motel room, watching TV. Adam thought it would be good to introduce the angel to television and the modern world, since he had no plans to go back to heaven. It was due to the fact that Samandriel had found Adam quite intriguing and had decided to stay with him, and as a result they were now sort of dating.

When the show ended, Adam clicked the Guide button on the remote, trying to find something else to watch. One could only watch so many episodes of Dr. Sexy, M.D. before they went insane. He flipped through the channels before coming to something he hadn't seen since he was little. His mom always indulged him when he begged to watch this particular show.

"Do you care if we watch this?" he questioned the angel.

Samandriel looked at the screen, tilting his head in consideration. "Winnie the what?" he asked, reading the words on the screen.

Adam sighed. "Winnie the Pooh," he explained. "It's a kid's show, but my mom let me watch it over and over when I was little."

Samandriel knew that Adam missed his mom terribly, so he agreed to watch this 'Winnie the Pooh' thing with the blonde. It was obviously important to him.

Five minutes into the twenty minute episode however, he was having second thoughts.

First of all, it was about a stuffed yellow bear wearing a red t-shirt. Second of all, the boy named Christopher Robin was obviously schizophrenic, seeing as he believed he saw his stuffed animals talk and walk and have adventures by themselves.

"They mispronounced tiger," Samandriel mentioned to Adam when the striped animal bounced Pooh.

Adam chuckled. "His name is Tigger," he explained. "Just watch."

And Samandriel did watch. The song this Tigger thing sang was immediately stuck in his head when he heard it, much to his annoyance. As the show continued, the angel had to wonder what on earth he had been dragged into.

Once it was finally over, Samandriel looked over at Adam.

"What was that, exactly?" he questioned.

Adam chuckled. "That, my angel, was Winnie the Pooh. The original, anyway. The later versions were a bit stupid."

Samandriel wasn't sure what to say to that. If the later versions were stranger than the one he just watched, they had to be very, very odd.

The human clicked another button on the remote and tried to find another show that the angel might enjoy.

"Hey," Adam commented "what do you think of Wife Swap?"

Samandriel forced himself to refrain from sighing. Watching bad TV was not what he signed up for, but if it made Adam happy, he'd be willing to endure it. So he nodded, earning him a grin from the blonde.

And if he replied with a matching smile when Adam slung an arm around his shoulders, he couldn't be judged.

This was way too short, and I apologize. But hey, it was cute, right? Thanks for reading!
