"Alright Ian, I'm leaving now. Don't set the house on fire while I'm gone." I joked as I stood by the door, my bags in hand.
"Yes, I know. I'm not a kid," Ian said.
"But you sure act like one," I mumbled loud enough for him to hear.
"Would you leave already," He said impatiently.
"Ok, God. I'm going now, see you Saturday, BITCH!" I said as I walked out of the door. It was going to be weird, not seeing Ian for 3 days. I mean, we've been apart before, but, it's just feels weird. I had to go ALL the way across the country, alone, to go to my uncle's funeral. Whop-Dee-fucking—doo. Well, I should be back by Saturday.
It was early Friday morning and I was on the plane back to Sacramento. The funeral was yesterday, so I thought, why should I stay there, it's boring. So, I bought my ticket and I was heading back to my hometown.
When I got to the airport all the way back in Sacramento, I decided to call Ian. But when I did, I was sent straight to his voicemail. Oh, well. I guess I'll surprise him. So I got to my car, and started to drive home. On the drive home, I started to think of how I was going to surprise Ian.
When I pulled into our garage, I noticed that it was like 9:00 at night. And that's the reason why I hate traveling on an airplane. Back in the East coast, it was midnight, and after being there for a while, I've already gotten used to the time difference. I took out my keys and went to the door. When I walked into the house, I was welcomed in the worst way possible.
And yes, i know, this chapter was short, but it was just to see how people would like it. Just a Prolouge.
