This is my look into the life of Fiona, and her thoughts about being put
in a pod.
I can see time
For it moves like a river
Swift and subtle
We travel on
Many try to stop it,
Failing in misery
I lost my boat long ago.
I was left alone and frozen
Seeing yet not
Living yet not
I wait knowing nothing
I wake knowing everything
But it is grasped by unwilling hands.
Power is what they thirst for, all who travel this river.
River with no name could you be so cruel?
Leaving me on the side, watching all I love despair.
You are cruel and unfeeling, searching for a foothold but always you fly on.
Tears join you always, pious cries for mercy, and I cannot help,
Only and always
I can see time.
I can see time
For it moves like a river
Swift and subtle
We travel on
Many try to stop it,
Failing in misery
I lost my boat long ago.
I was left alone and frozen
Seeing yet not
Living yet not
I wait knowing nothing
I wake knowing everything
But it is grasped by unwilling hands.
Power is what they thirst for, all who travel this river.
River with no name could you be so cruel?
Leaving me on the side, watching all I love despair.
You are cruel and unfeeling, searching for a foothold but always you fly on.
Tears join you always, pious cries for mercy, and I cannot help,
Only and always
I can see time.
