Iceland sat on the sink waiting for his big brother and the idiot tag-along. He felt the tooth wobble in his mouth and began pushing it with his chubby fingers.

"Don't do that, Iceland." Norway said as he came in, washcloth in hand. The older Nordic soaked the rag in water and rang it out.

"Can't believe Icey's about to lose a tooth! Dang, and losing 'em can hurt, too! I hated losing teeth!" Denmark exclaimed to noone in particular. Of course, when the Dane had begun losing teeth he was always running around and playing, so he would knock his teeth out on heavy rocks and big trees.

"It hurts?" Iceland looked at Denmark wide-eyed. Why hadn't he been told it was painful? His brother normally told him stuff like that! Norway looked at Denmark with an annoyed expression.

Denmark, for once, noticed the look and Iceland's worry and tried to fix it, "Well it probably won't hurt with as long as you waited to tell us it was wobbling!"

"Come on, Iceland, open up." Norway said as he wrapped the cloth around his hand and faced his baby brother.

"Yeah or else we'll tie your tooth to the doorknob and slam it shut!"

Iceland's eyes bugged out and he opened his mouth as far as it would go without being painful, like his mouth was being ripped apart. Norway glared at the moron at his side and slowly turned back to his brother, gripping at the loose tooth. It was one of the front ones, the left one to be exact. He pulled it out quickly as to ensure it wouldn't hurt. He patted the island nation on the back comfortingly and showed him the tooth, causing a loud yelp to erupt from the boy like one his volcanoes.

"Iceland, you're alright. You're alright." Norway tried to calm the boy.

"And you know, you put that under your pillow tonight and a fairy comes and leaves you money!"

"Really?" Iceland asked. He didn't trust the Dane and needed confirmation that his leg wasn't being pulled or something.

"Yep! It comes at night and takes your tooth and leaves you money!" Denmark exclaimed. "And then it loosens another tooth to get it started on coming out!"

THAT freaked Iceland out. Tears welled in his eyes as he yelled at the top of lungs, "I don't wanna lose all my teeth!" He sobbed and clung to Norway's shirt, burying his face in the cloth and thoroughly soaking it.

Norway slapped Denmark across the face and picked his brother up, rubbing the small of the boy's back, "You don't just lose them, you get new ones in their place. It's all part of growing up." he cooed in a mature voice.

"You didn't have to slap so hard…" Denmark whined, rubbing his sore cheek. Iceland looked up from his brother's side and giggled at the older man's pain. "Hej! Don't laugh at me!"

"You deserve it," Norway said, holding his brother closer.

Iceland woke up the next morning and felt under his pillow. He pulled out a coin and felt a smile explode across his pudgy face. He wasn't lied to! For once, Denmark told him the truth! He threw off his cover and hopped to the ground, running downstairs to show them both what he got in the night.

"Big Brother! Denmark! Lookie! Lookie what I got!" he held the coin up for them to examine, a huge grin lighting up his entire face. Norway gave the slightest smile at his brother's happiness. Denmark grinned big enough to challenge the boy's grin and hoisted him up easily onto his hip.

"Big Brother, please tell the fairies thanks you." Iceland said leaning on the Dane and twiddling with coin in his hands.

"Of course."
