.Hostility

All the planning. It had taken so. much. planning. The entire Summer was full of part time jobs to pay for the trip, and the last week was full of failed attempts. So when they manage to go to the beach, it's just on a weekend, but that's okay. That's okay, because everything else would be perfect. After so much effort, this trip had to go perfectly. Had to.

Hayner twitches, staring out at the ocean, standing next to Seifer. Olette and Pence are getting along surprisingly well with Rai and Fuu elsewhere - the girls build a sandcastle, and the boys build a sand town, threatening a hostile takeover, y'know? Hayner wonders if it's just him and Seifer who are rivals, after all.

So he does his best not to look at Seifer, because maybe if he ignores him, it'll be like he's not here. And really, that's not so hard, because the sea really is pretty. Oranges and Pinks and maybe some purples swirl together in the sky - reflecting into the water. It ripples, and mixes them further. He could look down, too. The sand beneath his feet is nice, though far less... Reflective than the water. So it's the ocean. Very interesting, that. Yeah.

He looks to his side at the feeling of being watched, but blinks, surprised. Seifer isn't watching him. In fact, Seifer has begun to build his own sand-fucking-kingdom - which Hayner would hate to admit looks fun. Instead, he sits between Pence and Olette and begins to add to Pence's town, connecting it to Olette's castle. Because then, put together, they've got a fucking kingdom too. So there.
