Disclaimer: Hhmmmm….maybe I'll get it for my birthday…until then, nope, not mine.
A/N: M'k, this is my second Elricest, so I think I'm getting the hang of keeping them in character more then before, so this one should be better then my first. Also, this is un-beta-ed, so any mistakes you see are my own, and I apologize for that. Oh….HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
Ed cursed as he burnt his hand on the oven, before waving it madly, trying to cool it down. Suddenly, a timer went off to his right, causing him to whirl around and stub his real toe on the table. Cursing even louder then before, he hobbled over to where the shrill sound was coming from, and turned it off before slumping to the floor in exhaustion.
Al had been hinting for weeks that he wanted to have a Thanksgiving feast, but was to shy to actually outright ask Ed if they could have one. He would tell Ed how he had seen the neighbors bring a big turkey home from the store, and wouldn't it be nice to have a turkey too? Or how the people across the street were inviting over their family members to Thanksgiving dinner, and how it would be cool if Ed invited Winry and Aunt Pinako down to visit them and eat dinner as well.
So, Ed being the incredibly nice, best big brother ever, devised a plan to surprise his little brother. First, he sent Al out on errands, saying that he needed some new books on Alchemic equations, and while Al was gone, he began making a Thanksgiving feast. Unfortunately, cooking a turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables and cookies all the same time was harder then he originally thought. There were globs of mashed potatoes all over the ceiling and walls, the turkey was burnt, the vegetables were all mushy, and the cookies…well, he wasn't even sure the cookies were edible anymore. With a sigh, he leaned his head back again the table, and closed his eyes, trying to relax before attempting to salvage the dinner.
"Hello Brother, I'm back!" said a cheery voice from the front door. Ed's eyes snapped open, and he scrambled around, trying to make the kitchen look a little less like a tornado had hit it.
"Brother did you hear…oh," Al breathed from the kitchen door way. He had a bag in one hand, and soothing auburn eyes were wide with confusion as he looked around what resembled their kitchen. "Brother….what happened?"
Ed sighed, and stepped carefully over to his brother, avoiding a small pile of mashed potatoes on the floor. "I was trying to make a Thanksgiving feast just like you wanted…but as you can see, that didn't exactly work out."
Al's eyes snapped to his brother's face, realization dawning in their depths. "You mean…you did this all for me?"
Ed nodded, his eyes, downcast as if ashamed at what he had done. Suddenly, a warm hand grasped his chin, and forced him to look Al in the eyes. Al smiled warmly at his brother, and said, "Brother, thank you so much for trying. It really means a lot to me that you attempted to make it happen just because I wanted it. Thank you."
"But Al! I totally ruined our dinner. I really wanted to surprise you too…I'm sorry…" Ed said softly.
Al's mouth set into a grim line as he growled out, "No, Brother it's not ruined. I'm very happy that you did that all for me, so don't you be sorry for anything."
With that said, Al leaned in, and captured his brother's lips in a passionate kiss, making Ed's head spin, and his senses go into overdrive. A moan escaped Al lips as Ed tangled his hands in his hair and brought them closer together as tongues dueled, sending shocks of pleasure through each of their bodies. As they sank to the floor, Ed thought briefly, "Maybe our dinner isn't ruined after all," but then Al did something amazing with his mouth, and all rational thought left his head.
A/N: So, how was it? I just thought I'd make a cute little drabble for the holidays, and I hope you enjoyed it!! Please review!
