Family is the most important thing
When I was young I was close to my family. Not as close as some people but I was close. Until I was five, when my parents decided that they didn't want me anymore and carted me of to my Uncle and Aunts. For seven years I was happy. I still had part of my family. And I started getting really close to my cousin. Once he hit eighteen, he left with only a note saying 'Sorry'. That was when things changed for me. That was when I realised that a happy family doesn't exist and that you can't trust anyone. Till I was eighteen, I was distant from everyone. I didn't talk to people. I got in to fights at school. And then the street racing started. Before my cousin left, he got me a beat up 1967 Camaro SS. It was my baby. And when I started getting money, I started to modify it. So by the time I was seventeen I was broke and bored. That's when I got into street racing. Eventually I started to get good. I then started raking in cash. Once I realised I was good at it, I decided to go to street race central... California!
~Flashback~
The streets were booming. The cars here were beautiful but none compared to my baby. It took me all of 5 minutes to find the guy in charge. And once I did I gave him a wad of cash and told him I wanted in.
"Ok but the only race you can get into is one against Dom Toretto. And Sweetheart I don't think you can take him." He said. Ok just because I was a girl doesn't mean I am weak and can't drive. "Listen here A**hole. I want in the race and you are gonna get me there. Ok?!" I said, ticked off.
Once he understood, he let me go to the starting line as my race was up next. "Next up is our favourite Dominic Toretto! And racing him is a new comer Annalise O'Conner! Get your engines ready! Set! Go!" As soon as her hands were down I was off. It soon was easy to see that he was faster but I wasn't stupid, I knew that if I used my NOS now I would blow my car. So I kept flooring it and I started to catch up. It soon became neck and neck. The Finish line was coming up I needed to hit the NOS now. And that is exactly what I did. The next thing I knew people were swarming my Camaro congratulating me. It looks like I won. "Nice race. You new?" Asked my competitor. "Yeh. What's it to you?" I asked. This guy was well built. He seemed like the kinda guy you didn't wanna mess with. So what did he want with a girl like me?
~end of Flashback~
That was how I met Dom. My boss. My friend. My lover. My fiancé.
