Oh, goddess of the can opener, work your magic for me! Buyo daintily rubbed against Ms. Higurashi's legs. Please… I'm hungry! He meowed a few times to underscore his desire.

Ms. Higurashi paid the cat little attention. Kagome had a big test today and she was busy making a good, filling breakfast for her. She gently shooed the cat away with her toe after nearly stepping on him.

Feed me! I'm hungry! Buyo made a rather unsuccessful attempt at jumping on the counter. Landing ungracefully on his butt, he picked up the remains of his dignity and rubbed against her leg again.

"Buyo! Silly cat, I'm going to step on you…"

Buyo refused to give up. His goddess had just acknowledged his presence. He continued to meow and rub against her, until finally he got what he wanted. Taking a deep breath as she dumped the contents of the can into his dish, Buyo waited patiently for her to set it before him. Yes! It is the shrimp and catfish combo! I'd know that smell anywhere!

Ms. Higurashi set the dish down in front of her silly cat, briefly watching him, before going back to make those little octopus weenies Kagome loved.

Buyo, on the other hand, was in heaven. He daintily ate the tiny shrimp and chunks of catfish in a delicate sauce. Thank you, beloved goddess! This is the best meal ever! It's so good, it's even better than mating with that cute Persian down the block! YES! YES! YES! He swallowed the last bite, before sauntering over to his beloved goddess. He rubbed against her leg, meowing his thanks. After washing his paws, he settled down in the middle of floor and curled up in the patch of sunshine that warmed the area. As he fell asleep visions of his goddess and that cute Persian danced in head with tiny shrimps and catfish…
