He waits as his mother comes to him. "Butterfly," she says sweetly, raising her bloodless arms to embrace him. Shifting Joel into one arm, Eddie gets ready to hug her. "Sunshine," Eddie replies. Mrs. Fender is close enough to touch Joel, though I don't think she wants to. Eddie and his mother join in a hug. How sweet, I think. Even with his tough exterior, Eddie lets a tear escape from his eye. He sniffles as he looks up at me. "Sita," Eddie says, "Sita, you let her live. You let my mother live now." I hold back an 'I told you so'. I grab the closest thing - a toothpick. I poke a bloody hole into my finger although I could've used my nail. I walk over to Mrs. Fender who had just passed out. I let my blood drop onto the wound I created on her neck. The wound heals and she would've passed out if she hadn't done so already.
