In a different galaxy

The war had raged, and in the thick of the storm the Sith had been unveiled.

He and the council had been blind to two crucial facts. Chancellor Palpatine was Darth Sidiuous and he had been orchestrating the war all along, the man had made a mistake by trying to pull Anakin to the dark side. He felt he had been oblivious to the young man's troubled feelings and it had almost cost them the war. Anakin faced the Chancellor with a few members of the council by his side, they drove Palpatine into hiding and cleared the way to reestablishing the government.

Anakin had openly talked about his family and his feelings, Obi-Wan thought he had played at least a small role in convincing the Council to let Anakin remain a Jedi, maybe it was time to reevaluate their postures.

It was a time of change and adaptation, the senate had taken on some of the policies proposed by the Alliance and some of the Separatists most serious guidelines; the Jedi were slowly integrating new philosophies into their core, embracing feeling instead of sheltering against it.

It was a tough and slow process, with rebellions and resistance, with some Jedi scorning change. The war was over, but peace was still far away.
