"This was a dumb idea," Alex complained as he readjusted his tie in the rear view mirror of the rental car.

Jo swatted his hands away to fix his tie and collar herself, "You're gonna have a good time."

Alex gave her an agitated look, "I can't believe I let you talk me into this. I hated high school while I was there, why would I willingly go back?"

"To see how far you've come, to see old friends, to laugh at any jerks that now have beer bellies, to show off your hot wife," she beamed at him as he rolled his eyes. "Oh come on, you're not looking forward to seeing anyone?"

"We could go back to the hotel room and I could just see you..." Jo slapped at his arm and mumbled under her breath as she turned to exit the car. Alex quickly got out and walked over to where she was smoothing out her dress, "So that's a no?"

Jo laughed and looked up at him, "Just try it out, Alex. If it really is that awful we can blow this Popsicle stand."

"Deal. But I can already tell you it will be bad."

Jo took his hand as they walked toward the restaurant, "Just relax. People change a lot in twenty years. Try to have a little fun."

Alex held open the door for her, "I'm gonna remind you of that when your twenty year comes up."

Jo shook her head and laughed, "Oh no, I will not be going to mine." She leaned up and kissed his cheek, "I'm not that gullible."

Alex's eyes widened, "What?"

Jo smiled cheekily at him as the hostess escorted them to a back room. She looked around at the handful of people already present and turned to Alex to speak when movement to her right caused her to suddenly jump back quickly as two large men ran up chanting "Rev." Jo looked on amused as the men clapped Alex hard on the back and rubbed his head affectionately. Alex turned to Jo and motioned her back over, "Guys, meet my wife, Jo Wilson. Jo this is Jacob and Josh. We wrestled together."

Jo extended her hand and startled slightly as each of the men hugged her. "You must be a special lady to put up with this jackass," Jacob said good-naturedly as he clapped Alex's back.

Alex gave her a sincere look, "That she is."

Someone caught the brothers' attention and they started to walk away. Josh turned back to Alex, "Catch up with you later, man."

Alex turned back to see Jo smirking at him, "What?"

"Rev?" she asked with a cocked eyebrow.

He shrugged, "Karev doesn't exactly chant well."

Jo laughed and took a seat at a nearby table, "Well now I need you to point out anyone else I need to know." Alex grinned as he pointed out old friends and teammates. When he finished Jo gave a skeptical look, "And ex-girlfriends?"

Alex shrugged, "Don't see any."

She smiled playfully and pushed on his thigh, "Oh whatever. Where are they?"

Alex laid his arm on the chair behind her, "You make it sound like I was some big ladies man."

Jo leaned back in her seat and gazed at him sweetly, "Oh come on!"

Alex shrugged, "I mean I did...stuff. But I wasn't focused on girls and relationships back then. I was trying to finish school and I had sports and...you know...home stuff. I just slept around some and I'm not really proud of that."

Jo leaned forward and kissed his cheek softly, "Well I am so proud of who you have become." She then got up and tugged on his hand, "Now come on Rev and introduce me to some more of these people."
