He heard the stories just as all other had. The blood remedies that gave that city such high praise. Now Zamiel had arrived. He found himself on an uncomfortable device signing a contact with a doctor, his thoughts were slipping as to why he was there until the blood transfusion began and he passed out. A nightmare jerking him around until he awoke in the now abandoned clinic. The only thought he could scrape together was that he was in Yharnam.
Upon walking downstairs, he began to notice how decrepit the place looked. He noticed a sound coming from the next room and nervously decided to follow it, no where else to go anyway. He found a strange wolf-like creature feasting on something. Unluckily it was somewhat blocking the exit. Carefully walking to try and not make it notice him as he made his way to the door until he froze seeing the creature turn its head to him.
Keeping an eye of the surrounding as the beast turned its body towards him, a swift side step past the girdies as he dodged the beast's lunge at him. He moved in and kicked into the side of the creatures leg. The beast turned swipping a claw at him, only barely did he escape the strike as he moved backward to safety. The creature reared up and jumped at him but once again he was able to escape easily, this time punching the creature as hard as he could in the spine, making it collapse. Something inside made him lunge forward, striking into the creatures back, tearing the flesh and a chunk of gore from the beast. As he dropped the meat, so did the beast as it bled out.
"Ha… Ha ha… You damn filthy creature…"
This was all he could say as he sat back exhausted. It wasn't even that long of a fight. Maybe the fear weighed on him more heavily then he though. He was a hunter from what he could remember of his life, at least he had some advantage in combat. He had not noticed hr was sitting in the beasts blood and stepped away quickly wiping his pants off a bit. He felt a bit invigerated from it, strangely. He'd consider it later as he moved to leave the building and see what was going on.
As he stepped outside he was taken back a bit from the scene before him. Smoke stacks in the distance from strange crusified creatures as far as he could tell from the closest. There were also the sound of gunshots every now and then. As such he patted himself down and found his own firearm was gone. He was carrying one right…? He shook his head of the thought as he moved, making it to a street leading to a gate on one side. As such he moved for the other.
Just as he would round the corner, a foul looking man swung in ax at him, barely giving him time to move out of the way. Another fight it would seem. As he got close the man swung the torch in his other hand at him, striking him in the stomach making him flinch. He quickly moved away from the next ax swing and starting punching the other man. The ax ended up swinging upwards as the other man backed away, clipping Zamiel's side and making him collapse. A boot to the head before a lunge and the strike of the ax against his head. Darkness overtook him. It seemed like the end until… he woke up.
