RED WAS ALWAYS YOUR COLOR
He ran. He ran so far, trying to get away. Tears streamed down his face, his eyes opened wide. His blonde hair was dripping wet. He turned the corner into an alley way, hoping to get away.
He watched as his attacker ran past him. He sighed in relief, and then looked to the door on his left. He quietly went inside the warehouse and sat on the floor against the wall.
As he caught his breath, he looked at his leg wound. It stung badly, but it had stopped bleeding. It wasn't deep but if he didn't get medical attention soon, he would get an infection.
Suddenly, a flash of lightning showed a figure standing in front of the door. The figure came closer, it was apparent he had a blade of some sorts.
The blonde man tried to get away, but was backed up into the wall.
"Seeaaamuussss..." The figure called out.
Seamus looked at him with fright, and a single tear fell out of his eye.
"I-i'm sorry for whatever i've done, just please don't hurt me Eddie!" Seamus pleaded.
Eddie looked at him, and then hit him in the head with the blunt end of his knife. Seamus fell to his hands and knees. He looked up at Eddie's gaze. It was cold and harsh.
Suddenly, Eddie hit him in the back of the head again, causing him to black out.
Seamus slowed blinked open his eyes, his cheeks stung from his tears. He lifted his head up, and saw Eddie again.
Another wave of fear hit him and he tried to get up and run. It struck him that his hands were bound.
"Uh-uh. You aren't getting away." Eddie said in a dark voice. He walked up to Seamus, grabbing his long hair and pulling his head up to look at him.
Seamus started to cry again. "I..." He managed to croak out. "I always.. loved you."
That set Eddie off.
"BULLSHIT!" He yelled and knee'd Seamus in the face. Blood gushed out of his nose.
That didn't stop Seamus from confessing his feelings.
"I- I knew.. From the moment I saw you.. that you were the one..." He said, tears still coming.
Eddie looked at him with a hateful look. He walked over to him and stabbed his other leg with the knife.
Seamus tried to yell in agony, but nothing came out. He sunk his head lower and the tears stopped.
"You never cared. Never. You always were holed up in your room, playing video games all the fucking time. You broke my heart." Eddie told Seamus. "Now I'll do the same to you."
Eddie took his knife and sliced a tiny cut on Seamus' cheek. It bled a little.
"P..please..stop..." Seamus said quietly.
Eddie looked at him with a look of surprise, as if he realized what he was doing. He wiped off the blood of his cheek. Seamus looked at him with a shimmer of hope.
Suddenly, Eddie punched him in the jaw, causing him to bite down on his tounge hard. Blood came out of his mouth. Seamus gave up hope, realizing he would never survive this.
"i-i'm so.. so.. sorry..." He kept reapeating. "i'm so sorry..."
Eddie looked at him. "Shut up. Shut up. SHUT UP!" He said with anger. "I'm sick of this shit! 'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!' YOU AREN'T SORRY! I loved you! You just pushed me away!"
Eddie stabbed him in the side. More blood. Seamus's eyes were now hollow. He felt numb. He was close to death.
"I..f.. you.. hate me... why not.. just kill me... now?" Seamus asked. His breathing became long and shallow.
"Great idea." Eddie said as he grinned. Seamus bowed his head, waiting for death.
It felt like a million wars were taking place in his chest. He felt his heart physically breaking. His breathing stopped. His vision became blurry. He felt himself sliping into darkness.
Eddie put his foot on the wall behind him, and gently lifted Seamus's gaze up to him. Eddie stared into his lifeless eyes.
"Ya know..." Eddie began. He smiled.
"Red was always your color."
