Alek. Alek. Alek. He was all I could think about. He invaded my thoughts and dreams and there was nothing I could do about it. He's irresistible. Blonde hair, brown eyes, ripped, British, Mai. But being Mai was one of the most important qualities he has because I couldn't have any relationships with anyone who wasn't Mai. Well, I could but if I did there was always the slight chance I could forget and kiss them. And if I did, they would die.
My thoughts, Alek-filled as always, were interrupted by none other than Alek. I turned at the sound of his melodical voice coming from my bed. The sight of him was like gazing at a God. His hair, dripping wet from the rain outside and his eyes, warm and wild.
"I thought I told you to stop watching me, Alek." I told him scowling.
"You know I can't do that, Chloe. It's my job to make sure you're safe and I'm going to do everything in my power to keep you safe." He said getting up from my bed to walk over to where I sat at my desk. When he was only inches away, he stopped. Placing his hands on either side of my desk, he leaned forward and began whispering in his delectible British accent.
"Chloe, I will do anything to keep you safe. I'll do anything you asked me just because you asked me. You are my world Chloe. I don't just watch you because it's my job. I watch you because, I-I love you, Chloe."
With this, he began leaning forward. Or was it me? All I knew is that slowly, our lips were getting closer and closer and soon they would meet. The very thing I had been praying would happen for days. Then, our lips met; it was like fireworks. It was everything I had hoped and even more. Kissing Alek, was like time stood still. I could stay like this forever with him. Except, we had to breathe.
"I love you too, Alek." I whispered, standing up to wrap my arms around his neck. His arms wrapped themselves around my waist and with my head against his chest, I could hear his heartbeat again. That soft thud-thud thud-thud of the organ was enough to make my heart melt.
Alek and I stood like that for a while, wrapped in each other's embrace until we heard my mom outside the door. She knocked gently, "Chloe, can I come in?"
I pulled back from the hug and kissed Alek full on the lips tenderly before whispering for him to come back later. He pecked me on the lips once more before taking his place back on the roof. Protecting me as always.
"Yeah Mom, come on in." I said with a smile, wishing that Alek was back already.
