Food, shelter and water. The three most essential resources in the wasteland and I've ran out….so much for 'waiting it out' it's funny now that you've mentioned it. Last night I had this weird dream that I ran out of food and water and my camp was devastated by raiders...I guess you could say that dream turned out to be useful after all.

4: 15 A.M

Buzzing and humming can be faintly heard as a massive sandstorm is threatening to bury my camp underneath it's vast layer of dust and rubble. Upon closer inspection with my binoculars I managed to take a note and guarantee that THAT 'sandstorm' is the result of countless raiders on bikes coming my way.

4:27 A.M

I managed to scavenge the remains of the camp and got my hands on a couple of necessities: one pair of binoculars, one canteen, one journal, one 10mm pistol, one 10mm ammo box and one flashlight. It's not much but at least it's a start (better than nothing I suppose) and now that that's over with I finally began my journey to find a somewhat decent and yet defenceable shelter.

4:50 A.M

As much as I want to keep my distance as far away as I can I had to come to a stop because a wall is preventing me from moving on….maybe a sledgehammer or some explosives could do the trick.

4:55 A.M

Well I didn't find any traces of explosives anywhere within the vicinity but at least I found a sledgehammer from a conveniently nearby sack. Judging by the thickness of said wall I estimate that it'll take me around 20 minutes at most (here goes nothing, wish me luck!)

5:15 A.M

Guess what?! I managed to punch a hole in the wall….but not before breaking the sledgehammer in the process though. Look on the bright side! At least it's one less thing to worry about (plus the weight on that thing was ridiculous, good riddance!). With a hole big enough for me to fit in I can finally move on and continue my travels.

5:21 A.M

On my way to find shelter I stumbled across an abandoned settlement with the help of my binoculars...no sign of life as far as I'm aware of (I guess when they say it's abandoned they really DO mean it).

5:24 A.M

A little bit further down the road and that should be far enough. Luckily for me at the edge of said road there was a house (the EXACT same on in my dreams too!). With that in mind I ran towards it with excitement taking mental notes about the place along the way.

6:10 A.M

*Sigh* has it really been that long since the last time I've written an entry in my journal? ("no time like the present" I suppose) but that's not the point! Getting back on topic, while I was away I took my precious time to scout the area for any possible signs of those fiends (even though they're technically classified as raiders but you get the idea). While your at it I've also managed to arm some bear traps located in entrance of the house as well as the back door

6:50 A.M

All these traps and barricades sure is getting tiresome...too bad there's no rest for the wicked ,as the saying goes, the windows in the first and second floors and barricaded and safely secured MAN does my hand hurt from all that hammering

7:06 A.M

That's it! I can't take it anymore I've succumbed to the temptation of exploring the nearby structures. I'm going on an adventure and nobody can stop me!
