The morning sun had started rising, welcoming the first day of Summer to the region of Alola. The light shone into the ruins, where a tired Tapu Koko was resting. The morning light woke him, and he sat up carefully, yawning and rubbing his eyes. He felt something snuggle up to his stomach, and he looked down. There, was a small, sleeping, newborn Tapu, barely a few hours old. The night before had been a slight blur to Tapu Koko, as everything had been so sudden that night, though he remembered some of it. He looked at the tiny Tapu, examining it. It seemed to look much like him, but it had a few small differences, like a set of black legs instead of…whatever what below his waist was called, its plume had a ring on it, like the one Tapu Bulu had, and it seemed to have really short, spiked, light blue hair, like a shorter version of Tapu Fini's hair. It shifted a bit, then let out a tiny, high pitched yawn, and opened its eyes, looking up at Tapu Koko. Tapu Koko picked them up, and they giggled a bit. Tapu Koko tried to remember what had happened last night, feeling like he had seen the newborn earlier. The last thing he could remember was seeing the other Tapus leaving the ruins, right before he fell asleep, though slowly, the memory of last night started to come back.

The last day of spring, he remembered, was a day he had been very paranoid about, as he knew at any second something would happen. He had fallen asleep that night, only to wake up a bit later in immense pain. He remembered seeing the Tapus rusing in, hearing him in pain, and Lele had rushed out shortly after, while Bulu and Fini were trying to calm him down. After a bit, Lele had rushed back in with another Pokémon. Some of the time after was still a blur, but he remembered talking with his siblings, being sapped of his energy, before the sound of a crying newborn had gotten their attention. He had seen the Pokémon walk back in holding something, and handing it to him. He remembered looking at it and seeing it was…

A small, newborn Tapu, wrapped in a warm blanket.

Tapu Koko placed the newborn down, finally remembering what had happened last night, then suddenly remembering something he was told months ago. 'In the Spring, a new Tapu will be brought into the world. I trust that you, Tapu Koko, will raise them from their infancy, and teach them to be a strong and powerful guardian of Alola.'

When he was first told that, it confused him. He didn't know what it meant, but now he did.

In Spring, he would bring a new Tapu into the world, and was trusted to raise them to be a new guardian of Alola from their infancy to adulthood. A fifth Tapu, who would take their appearance from all four, to help protect all of Alola with the other Tapus.

He looked back at the newborn, who was trying to sit themselves up, Though was not strong enough to yet. Tapu Koko smiled a bit. He found it a little cute, and helped them to sit up. They looked up at him, and he smiled. They smiled as well, giggling. They yawned a bit, getting tired again. They snuggle up to Tapu Koko before falling asleep again.

"Hm...I wonder what I'll call you..." Tapu Koko yawns. "Maybe a good name will come to me while I rest..."
