"Cautionary Tale"

A/N: Random, read-alone poem with OC's and this just might tie into "Brotherhood".

My name is Halfcut,

I'm one and five.

Six is how many vorns I've been alive.

We moved here when I was two,

Every few vorns, it's what we do.

I like it up here, the sun is bright

And with two moons you can see well at night.

I've got friends all over the block.

I'd love to stay with them, to sit, and talk,

But…home is where I gotta walk.

Carrier said I've got to make dinner tonight,

And when she's working late it's best not to fight.

My brother's at home alone, too.

He's real little, so feeding him is something else I have to do.

Then, somewhere back, behind my helm, someone came creeping.

A dark, chunky alt-mode of black and grey, curiosity he was seeping.

"Hold it there, little femme. Where is it that you're going?

There's a chill in the air, soon it may be snowing."

Said the hauling van with insides dark as night.

"You shouldn't walk home alone, about that I wouldn't feel right."

So, I turned to flash a grin and told him no lie.

"Sire says don't chat with strangers. Goodbye."

But he continued, "Oh, my dear, you have it wrong.

Your parentage, Ironstalker, I've known for long.

Come over here and come inside,

I'd be delighted to offer a ride.

I have puppy and many treats I'd love to share with you.

If you come right now you can have some to take home too."

I slid to a stop; it sounded nice.

About it, I almost thought twice,

But with a shake of my helm I said:

"No thanks, my little brother is home sick in bed.

He's only four, sire's out of town,

And carrier? It will be late before she's around."

The stranger transformed, faceplate spilt with glee.

"Then there's no time to waste, come with me!"

I bounced on my heels and pointed nearby, "You don't have to give me a ride.

There's my house, you can come in. It's just on this side."

I unlocked the door and led him in, my excitement catching quickly.

"I'm so glad I found one like you. You'll be great option since my brothers kinda sickly."

He was confused as he pulled out a smelly rag, "You speak as if you're the winner."

"It means," I purred as I locked the door, "You're just in time for dinner."

On the outside, I look cute and sweet but I'm not what I appear,

Because beneath that pink façade, I'm every Transformer's worst fear.

In the kitchen, I revealed my true nature, long fangs and claws unfurl,

A beast-like mode, long tail and spikes, denta as white as pearl.

Then my little brother stumbles in looking just like me and I smile,

"It's not often dinner comes to us. It's been quite a while!"

After dinner, I don't feel bad,

A puppy or candies, none of that he had!

Sire says it's a service what we do, taking out the planet's trash,

But he's got the scars to prove it doesn't do to be too rash.

So, I sit and clean my brother's face,

And maybe later, I'll tidy the rest of the place.

I'll put the leftovers away before lil brother notices, or else they'll be all gone.

Yeah, when all is said and done, I guess I'm a good Terrorcon.

(Sings offkey) Transformers! More than meets the eye!

Original Prompt: "The nice man in the van with a puppy and candy seemed so excited to give me a ride home when I told him my lil brother was there alone waiting for me.

I'd feel bad about lying to him, but my family told me to bring home dinner, and those type of humans are so easy to catch."
