A faded figure wearing a cloak walked down a rough mountain. Rain poured down and a thin veil of mist hid this person's tears. He was gone, he had left her, and all that was left behind, was a simple Pacifier. Rain. The one thing that tied the two together, chosen by destiny. He sacrificed himself for her as they both became cursed, but now, years later the very same destiny that brought them together, had torn them apart.

She could not move. The curse went through her body and weakened her to the point of exhaustion, each step staggering on without the will to live. Without him, her life had no meaning, as he was her joy, her sorrow, and her annoyance. She thought of every time she called him an idiot, or how she always thought he was annoying, only to realize that he meant this much to her.

As he foot touched the ground, her tears poured and her breath was short. She collapsed and kneeled down, not having the strength or will to try and get up one more time. She uttered his name one time before closing her eyes and screaming into the night, which the dark mountain echoed into forever in this rainy hell.

Years ago, he was a new recruit to her squad under her tutelage. Back then, she was rough. Love meant nothing to her, but he managed to ease his way into her cold heart and warm it up enough for her to feel it. Their first kiss was shared in the rain, pouring down eternally in their hearts. Neither wanting it, but the rain would never stop. His smile was gone, and with it, her heart. The heart he had loved so much, now faded, faded into the shroud of mist encircling the never ending rain.
