All was silent in Beacon was the students settled down to bed. Many had dreams of victory, or romance. One student was dreaming about cookies and dessert. But one member of Team CFVY was having a very unexpected dream. For she was dreaming about her home in Australis, namely a legend that was spoken in the more mountainous regions of the country.

"I'm home" she said as a storm sounded overhead. Lightning flash illuminating the sky in a vivid light show before the sound of thunder clashed above her. Covering her ears she heard something coming towards her: a wild Australis horse called a brumby, it reared back and kicked its front hooves before landing and looked at Velvet, her doe brown eyes widening at what she was seeing. So she closed her eyes and inhaled.

"IN the darkness of the night, in the fury of the storm
With silver mark of freedom A spirit was born" she sang before looking up to see the horse still standing there, only with its head dipped. Patting its nose she climbed on and held tightly.

"Hello Thowra" she smiled softly as she and the brumby took off. a wide smile on her face as they travelled over the rocky terrain. Suddenly Velvet heard more hoof sound; looking down she saw more brumbies galloping along in the storm. Behind them were a pair of horse riders, a blonde haired human and a rabbit Faunus.

"No way, dad was a Brumby herder" she gasped before noticing Thowra stopped again

"Thowra, they named him Thowra
Like the wind, like the wind that is free" she sang again as a wedge tailed eagle flew over to a nearby branch. This startled Velvet before the brumby lifted its head to clam Velvet "Thowra, they named him Thowra, to be the king of the bush his destiny.

Soon Velvet and Thowra were down in the valley having a drink of water. Velvet felt refresh from the cool water from the river and the cold mist on her neck. Walking over to the brumby she started to pat its nose

"In the secret mountain vales, through the mist and ancient trees,
Runs the ghostlike horse so proudly.
Silent as the breeze" she continued singing as a small breeze swept through the valley they were in.

Soon they found themselves looking out over the valley as the moon was coming up

"Thowra, they named him Thowra!
He's the son of the wind Strong and free
Thowra, they named him Thowra, And the king yes the king he will be" she finished her song as lightning and thunder sounded making Thowra rear up and release a mighty nigh through the valley.

"You are the king of the cascade brumbies" she said before the cliff gave way "NOOO

"OOF!" she grunted "That hurt" she groaned removing the fallen quilt off her head, shaking the cobwebs out of her head.

"Are you okay Vel?" Coco asked

"Yeah I am, rough dream"

"What was it?" Coco asked.

"A Legend from Home Velvet said sitting down in front of Coco so she could get her hair brush. "Have I told you of the legend of Thowra?"

Okay so a bit of background, the Silver Brumby was an Australian cartoon on TV back in the 90s based on the books of the same name about a Brumby out in the bush of the Snowy Mountains I think..., any way the lyrics Velvet is singing are the actual lyrics to the series theme song. Anyway the episodes are on YouTube, usually in four parts, so give it a try and you may enjoy it

Anyway until next time I'll catch you on the flipside
