A/N: Well I'm not quite sure what to say here...Um, hello? Thanks for reading my story, maybe? Uhh, yeah...

Anywho, this story was inspired by the part the second Secrets of the Immortal book where Josh and Nicholas where talking about the Philosopher's Stone and the Book of Abraham. Not much more to say.

OH! I want to apologize for any grammer or speling mistakes. I'm not the best in those departments, and my Microsoft Word is acting squirrely, so I used WordPad instead. If someone could, kindly, point out any mistakes I missed, that would be great.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters in this story. They belong to they're respective creators.

"... the Philosopher's Stone formulation to turn ordinary-" Nicholas was cut short as a small blond boy bursted though the wall. Behind the angry midget was a suit of armor, who looked shocked, surprised and very apologetic.

"Okay, old man," the boy started, "give us everything and anything you have on the Philosopher's Stone. NOW!" Though he was small, he very threating.

"Brother!" the suit of armor squeaked. "I'm so sorry. He's normally very calm. Kind of."

Nicholas and Josh exchanged glances. Who were these people? Were they Dr. Dee's henchmen? Machiavelli's?

"Um, who are you?" Josh questioned.

"I am Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist!" the short one stated proudly.

"I'm Alphonse Elric," the suit of armor answered meekly.

"Who?" Nicholas asked, still confused.

Edward looked extremely annoyed. "Nevermind." he mutterd angrely. "Just tell us everything you know about the Philosopher's Stone!"

"I'm sorry, but I don't know a lot a lot about it, and what I tell you now you probally already know." Nicholas gave the boys an apologetic and sincere look.

"Dammit!" Edward practically screamed, stomping his feet.

"It was a good try, Brother," Alphonse reassured him, putting a hand on his brother's shoulder.

Josh continued to stare at the brothers, feeling sorry for them. If they needed the Stone those two must in searious trouble. "Come, Josh," Nicholas said, pulling him out of his thoughts.

Nicholas and Josh turned and walked away, still thinking of those boys.
