Tantrum Quatro

60. Drink

Ted and Marshall were wrestling on the floor while Robin and Barney looked on in some bemusement. Robin shifted her weight across Barney's lap, reaching for the can of Tantrum sitting on the table.

"So..." She said, turning the can around in her hands. "How does this fit in with your 'no food or drink in the Fiero' rule?"

"It's not drink!" Squeaked Ted, pinned down by Marshall's weight. "It's medicine!"

"Medicine?" Robin laughed, looking for the nutritional information on the back of the can. There was none, just a skull and crossbones, plus a warning from the Surgeon General.

59. Food

Robin gave Barney a significant look and he took the bait. "Okay," he drawled. "So how is beef jerky not a food? The clue's in the name, fellas. Beef?"

Robin grinned.

"Ah!" Marshall said, letting Ted go. The smaller man gulped for air and rubbed his windpipe.

"Ah!" Marshall repeated. Barney mouthed "Crazy eyes" at Robin and they tried not to giggle.

"Jerky isn't a food. It's a clothing!" Marshall said triumphantly, as if this made perfect sense. "It's made from leather. Lawyered!"

Ted nodded vigorously, then kept nodding until Marshall sat on him. "Tantrum!" He yelled, flattening his friend.

39. Taste

Barney snatched the can of Tantrum away from Robin to get a closer look. She narrowed her eyes and tried to grab it back. "Seriously!" Barney said, holding the can away from her. "Do not drink this stuff. Look at those bozos! I mean... Why would you put this crap in your body?"

Robin stared pointedly at the can of Red Bull sitting next to him on the table.

"That's not the same!" He protested. "Red Bull... tastes nice."

"Tantrum tastes nice!" Ted said, from the floor. "But it makes your pee smell gross!"

"TMI, Ted," Robin said, laughing uncontrollably.

37. Sound

The apartment was a mess when Lily arrived. "What in the hell?" she exclaimed.

Robin wasn't attempting to clean up. She was sitting on the floor, leaning against the up-turned couch, watching TV. "The guys are out playing Laser Tag," She said.

"I thought Barney was banned?" Lily asked, absently picking up a cushion.

"Yeah, well, Ted got Barney to drink Tantrum by promising him they'd find a new place. Barney drank twelve cans, swore he was some comic book guy called The Flash and ran around the apartment attempting to break the speed of sound."

Lily sighed. "Boys."

"Totally."
