I walked over to the cupboard of the Rajaram house with two tigers-men trailing close behind. Rens arms circled my waist, and he sweetly kissed my temple. I pulled open the door to see a cute little gray furball fall out, meowing in fear. The kitten landed into the sink. She turned to me and pawed the sink.

Ren growled into my ear, "Don't pick it up. You don't need to give it any more attention."

"Ren!" I cried, cradling the kitten. "You are jealous aren't you!"

"Of course we are Kells. You spend more time with that kitten then with us. Why don't you try to break that cats curse," Kishan huffed.

"So, you were the one who put Twila into the cupboard!" I yelled. He couldn't meet my gaze and quickly left the room.

"I say put it back in the cupboard," Ren muttered. Twila was a stray baby kitten Kadam and I found in the market place. I begged both brothers for hours to let her stay. She was tiny. She easily fit into a teacup, but not once had she flinched from the tigers roaming the house.

"Fine! I will eat dinner in my room with Twila." I stated. Rens face darkened.

"That stupid little fur ball," he started. "If you want a cat with you, I will eat with you."

"You still get sick around me Ren. I don't want you two hurting Twila so she stays with me." I saw a tremor pass up Rens arm. Hedid a good job hiding it though.

"I can handle it."

"I will eat breakfast with you tomorrow. Is that okay?"

Ren sighed. He walked up to me, pulling us together. He glared at Twila still in my arms and threatened, "You will never take my rajkumari away from me Twila, understood?" Twila let out a half-hearted hiss in response. His breath was now ragged.

"Ren, I am hurting you."

"No you are not," his arm shook. He gave me one last kiss and left the room. I ended up feding half of my dinner to Twila. I was worried. One of the brothers might try to get rid of her. I only wished they saw how innocent and pure Twila was. She yawned and lightly nibbled on my index finger. The cute mess of fur blinked her green eyes and curled up on my pillow. I slept with my kitten that night, but all I wanted were my tigers.
