Just something that was floating in my head while I was making my most recent AMV. I had to write it down or I wasn't going to get to sleep.

A heavy sigh escaped passed Suzaku's lips as he closed Nunnally's bedroom door. She was asleep now, but the whole ordeal had been rather traumatizing to her. Without her eyes to show her emotion Nunnally's face had twisted into something between panicked and confused.

Of course Nunnally did not know Zero's true identity was Lelouch, but still she kept crying and calling for her big brother until she had passed out from exhaustion. Now Suzaku's chest was burning with an all new guilt. He may have been her knight and protector now, but he knew that title only belonged to Lelouch. The last thing he wanted to do was bring harm to Nunnally, and even Lelouch.

But Zero…

"Hey, Suzaku!" Came crashing through his thoughts as he felt a pair of strong arms wrap around his shoulders.

"What do you want, Gino?" the Eleven asked in an uninterested tone.

"Do you know who pilots the red one?" Gino asked as he stood up straight, his tall frame towering over his friend; causing Suzaku to strain his neck when he looked up at him confused.

"The red what?"

"The red KMF," Gino replied as if it was obvious what he was talking about the whole time.

Suzaku sighed and walked away from Nunnally's room to lead Gino away. He knew Gino's loud mouth would wake her. But he didn't blame Gino; he knew he couldn't help it.

"You mean the Guren," Suzaku stated, enlightening the blond knight.

"That's the one," Gino said nodding in agreement, "do you know who pilots it?"

"Kallen Stadtfeld."

Cerulean eyes widened as the last name registered in his brain. "A Britannian fighting for the Black Knights? I don't believe it."

Suzaku sighed again. Gino was a good person, but sometimes he wasn't the most aware person in the world. Didn't he realize Suzaku was an iEleven/i fighting on Britannian's side.

"Well, she's half Japanese."

Gino's mouth had made a perfect 'O' shape before he grinned madly. He laughed throwing his arm around Suzaku's shoulders once more, and laid a wet kiss on Suzaku's cheek.

"Well, I do like you Japanese people!"

The honorary Britannian's olive eyes narrowed on Gino as he reached up and wiped off the side of his face.

"Gino, do us all a favor and don't start flirting with the enemy," Suzaku reminded him in all seriousness. If he didn't Gino probably would have.

Hell, who was he kidding? Gino still probably will.

"Oh, jealous are we?"

Suzaku pulled out of Gino's grasp and began to walk across the consulate.

"Hardly the case."

Gino took one step to follow the Eleven before he spoke up again.

"Don't follow me; I want to be alone for now." Suzaku warned before turning into his own room and closing the door. Gino may have lacked any concept of personal space, but he had learned that Suzaku meant it when he wanted to be left alone.

Gino watched the closed bedroom door for a minute before shaking his head and turning into his own room.

Maybe he would do a little research on this Kallen Stadtfeld. And see what she really (looks) is like.
