The car came to a steady halt as I arrive in front of the large gated campus I am to call my new home.

'Konoha Private Boarding School,' flashes the gold sign next to the gate. The setting sun makes it glow eerily bright.

My gaze lingers on the sign for a few moments before I proceed through to what looks like the administrative building.

My name is Tenten. a seventeen-year-old, junior. My life has been interrupted by the sudden deaths of my parents and I probably should be heartbroken...

Except I'm not.

I was not raised by my parents, but a family friend. Up until now, I have had no idea their whereabouts nor contact from them; save for the sparsely sent letters I received now and then. Every letter closed with how proud they were of my accomplishments, and their love for me.

Yet it has always seemed like they left me.

I only got to hear their voices once in my life; hours before they were gone forever. When I got the call about their accident, my caretaker immediately rushed to the hospital. A car accident she told me; they were killed immediately by the impact.

I open the door to the office, and take in the bright green décor.

As it turns out, my parents were very affluent. They hired the best tutors for me and supervised by my caretaker, made sure I was brought up with etiquette...so they think. The best perk I guess, was that their love also came in the form of a grand a month for "extra" expenses.

I step into the elevator and breath a deep sigh as it beeps.

And now I'm here. According to my parent's will, they stated should anything happen to them, I was to be sent to Konoha PB immediately. I don't understand what difference it makes with what school I attend, but I've been transferred in the middle of the fall term. I ring the bell at the front desk and thumb my necklace as I wait. It's a gift from my parents from when I was born; my caretaker has warned me to never take it off. It is a silver linking chain with a strange symbol on a spider web as the main pendant in the middle. An odd thing, but it is as close to a family keepsake as I will ever get.

Finally, I am greeted by the front secretary with a warm smile. "Hello, I am Shizune. How can I help you?"

I smile back at her, "Hi, I am a new transfer to the junior class." Shizune nods as her eyes wander to my neck and return.

"Your necklace is very pretty" she says absently. Before I can reply she speaks again, "Let me pull your file, what is your name?"

"Tenten. Just Tenten" I reply. She nods and disappears briefly into a small room. When she emerges, she is flipping through a stack of files for my own.

"Okay, here it is" she says cheerfully, bringing the file in front of me. "Here is your class schedule, school handbook, and dorm key. Your roommate is Sakura Haruno and you will be staying in the Sapphire dorm of the Moon Residential college. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask."

"Great," I say as I take all the materials. "Thank you very much," and with that, I take off.

I arrive at my dorm ten minutes later, and take in the gorgeous building. Living up to its name, the Sapphire dorm is a rich blue hue, and modeled in old gothic architecture. I get into my room, but my roommate is absent. I note the well made bed on left, and begin to settle in the right wing. Just then, the bathroom door opens revealing a pale, pink haired girl with vibrant green eyes. A look of confusion passes her face briefly, but is replaced by a wide grin.

"Hi, you must be my new roommate. I'm Sakura Haruno" she greets, closing the distance between us. She offers her hand and I take it with my own smile. "I'm Tenten, nice to meet you Sakura."

She moves to sit at the edge of her bed before speaking again. "It will be nice to finally have a roommate again. my last roommate was a senior; she graduated last year, and I've been alone since." Just like Shizune, Sakura's gaze flicks to my pendant with recognition. "That necklace is so beautiful. I have one almost like it with my family crest." She says, pointing to her own.

I laugh, "How coincidental." I hoist my suitcase onto my bed, and begin to unpack. As I settle in, Sakura begins to explain the school to me, and catches me up on the familiar faces of the semester.

"This Hinata girl sounds super nice!" I say as Sakura nods.

"Oh yeah, sweet as honey. You will love her," she chirps "There are a bunch of great people here on campus, you just have to find your crowd!" I nod in acknowledgement and lean over my desk. "I hope I can make some friends soon."

Sakura waves her hand in dismissal as she glances at the clock on her table. "Don't worry, I'll introduce you to some people; you'll make friends soon," she assures me. I nod again, as she gets up and grabs her coat.

"Well, I got to go do something, so I'll be back later." She walks out the door and shouts before it closes, "Don't wait up!"

"Um okay, have a good night" I say to the air. I continue to unpack for a little longer, then settle into bed.

Sakura walks up the path to the Scarlet dorm, taking care not to be seen. Before she even reaches the door, it is opened by one of the residents. As she approaches the girl smiles knowingly, "They are in the entertainment room waiting for you."

Sakura mouths a gratitude and proceeds to the spoken room. Once there, she is greeted by three girls.

"Sup Forehead" says the long haired blonde.

"H-Hello Sakura" greets the timid looking, purple haired girl.

"Hey" calls the other blonde, with shorter hair.

"Good evening girls" replies Sakura as she sets her coat on the counter. "Sorry I'm late, I have a new roommate."

"Cool, is she one of us?" asks the short haired blonde.

"I don't think so Tem, I didn't pick up the scent. Just a human, but there is something about her that I find strange."

"Strange huh?" asks the other blonde.

"Yes," replied Sakura. "She had a pendant necklace like ours. It doesn't have a crest on it though; just a webbed landing."

"Well that's weird, you should probably talk to Tsunade." Sakura nods her head as she turns from the table. "You're right Ino. I'll go to her now."

Ino flips her hair as she hops off the bar stool she had been perched on. "Mkay, Temari and I have to go take care of some of the rooms upstairs," she says, gesturing to the trash bags the blonde is holding. "The mess from the party last night is still cluttering the place."

"Alright then; see you guys" says Sakura, but before she can leave, a hand grabs her shoulder. "Oh wait, S-Sakura!" stutters the timid girl standing with them. "Sasuke told us to tell you he has returned and wants to see you."

"Oh, thank you Hinata. I'll check in with him first." says Sakura with a blush. Hinata smiles as she follows after Temari and Ino.

Sakura walks down a few flights of stairs, until she reaches the basement level of the Scarlet dorm. It has long since been converted into a lounge for the residents of the dorm. As always, the lights are dim and the room is alive with bodies filling the space. Sakura weaves her way to the back of the room and approaches a table occupied by a group of guys in casual conversation.

"Hello boys," she purrs as she takes a seat next to the boy with spiked dark hair. He remains silent as stony black eyes meet jade green.

"Hinata told me you were," says Sakura in barely a whisper. "when did you get back?"

The boy whose features remained unreadable at first, cracks a smirk as he pulls Sakura into his arms, "We got back from our training at sunset. Itachi has some business to attend to."

Sakura opens her mouth to speak, but is instead captured in a passionate kiss. "And perhaps I just wanted to see you." Sakura grins at her lover's words before brushing a lighter kiss against his lips. "I missed you Sasuke."

A cough is heard from across the table as the two turn to the blonde boy rolling his eyes. "Wow Uchiha, I knew you had a soft side, but I didn't think you were that capable in public displays."

"Shut it Naruto," warns Sasuke. "Maybe if you actually tried, you'd get more than a blush from Hinata." Naruto glares at Sasuke as the table's other occupants chuckle.

Sasuke's smirk returns as he focuses again on Sakura. The two share a heated gazed as the rest of the table slips back into conversation. He lifts his fingers to caress her cheek and slowly traces her skin down to her collarbone. Sakura blushes harder as Sasuke's eyes fill with desire. "May I?"

Sakura smiles and moves closer to him, "Sorry to say, but it'll have to be quick. I must speak with Tsunade."

He nods and proceeds to unbutton her blouse to expose her neck. He leans in and gently sucks at the smooth sensitive flesh just below her ear. Sakura moans softly in satisfaction before he plunges sharp, white fangs into her skin. Sakura relaxes as her body responds to his touch; closing her now crimson eyes.

This is what we are

Blood again tomorrow…

AN: LOL I just can't seem to come back to this story without finding something I hate. I have received some reviews these past few months, and I appreciate the ongoing support. My life has been crazy as of late but I will try to roll out an update soon...right after I change the tense of this entire story haha... New Name (Not really), and probably new writing style, and currently looking for a new beta reader too. Thanks again for reading everyone. LEAVE A REVIEW, they guilt me and make me come back.
