Quiet, steady, the wind blew the leaves in a swirling pattern, towards the scent of blood. All the demons could smell it, the blood of a fresh innocent, but they dared not near it. A presence was in these woods, one they all gravely feared and respected. Graceful steps, barely a crunch of twigs and leaves, long snow white hair flowing behind, seeming to flow in its own type of wind, a menacing aura following him, scaring off any who had ventured near the body.
"Such a waste of beauty in a human..." He muttered as he raised his sword, slicing the soul eaters away form the woman's body. She was beautiful, with long sleek straight black hair, but when she opened her eyes, they were so light a grey that they were considered white. Her white kimono was stained with the red form her own blood, from a battle that she was not even part of, she had a warrior's sword by her side, perhaps a possible suitor of hers, for indeed she was a princess. Many men dropped to their knees before her, ready to even die for her. He picked her up, cradling her in his arms as he walked through the woods, looking for a safe cavern to put her to rest.
Soon he came upon a cave, in which he heard running water, knowing she would want to bathe in the morning when she woke up.
For this man it was unusual to stay up all night, safeguarding a woman, and he tried to convince himself that he wasn't doing it for her safety, but for his own. "This Shesshomaru waits for no one…" He murmured aloud to himself just as dawn broke, and he heard the sounds of the woman stirring behind him.
"Where am I?" she whispered frantically.
Before she could go into a panic, Shesshomaru rushed forward and clamed a hand over her jaw, keeping her form screaming "Do not scream, do not panic, If you wish to bathe there is a spring in the back of the cave where you can also wash your clothes, also I wish you to keep the sword as any mite of protection you have. Nod if you understand."
The woman nervously nodded, whimpering a bit, not truly knowing why this demon was being so cold to her. He released her and watched as she went to the back of the cavern, wondering if she remembered anything at all from her past life. She was beautiful, and would make a wonderful mother and role model for Rin. The perfect woman, just the type of woman he hoped Rin would be some day in fact. The woman was taking too long to his liking and he headed for the back of the cave, startling her as she moved to cover herself.
"Hurry up…" He said, glaring coldly down at her "It isn't as if I would look at you in that way anyway. By the way, what is your name girl?"
"I…Do not know…"
"It is as I suspected, I did not draw her from the threshold of death quickly enough. But this may come as an advantage to me. This way I can mold her into the absolute perfect role model for Rin." He thought, while aloud he said "I will call you Tsuki."
