Winternight

by Gine

This winter had been too long.

Holodecks don't create soulfires.

We slowly froze in warm environments.

You came to me, when I thought I would turn to ice.

And you opened a window into the night.

We drifted out into the silent darkness.

In each other's arms the cold could no longer touch us.

We burned,

Searing flames of passion consumed us.

Kisses inflamed thousand of fires on our skin

And when the last icy wall fell,

It streamed in tears from my eyes.

Stars rained down on us

Like snow, quiet and soft.

They melted in our love's glowing.
