''Mako! Mako!''

A voice was calling. A tall olive green haired man turned his head as he heard his nickname called.

''Mako!''

A small blonde boy with red-pink eyes ran up towards the taller man, waving a hand in the air as he tried to catch up with him. ''Finally, I was running to dead.'' The smaller panted.

''Ah, good morning, Nagisa.'' Makoto smiled at the boy. ''Sorry, I didn't really hear you coming.''

Nagisa still was trying to catch his breath and then looked up. ''So, where are you heading to, Makoto?''

Makoto blinked and turned with his head to the other way. ''I was heading home, why?''

''Oh, nothing. I was up to ask if you would like to hang out with me or something.''

''Hanging out?'' Makoto tilted his head slightly, thinking. ''Hm... sure, why not? It's not like I have something else to do at home. So, sure. I'd love to.''

A big, excited, smile appeared on Nagisa's face as he made a jump. ''I was wanting to go to the park with you, since we haven't been there for such a while.'' Nagisa said and grabbed Makoto's arm. ''Let's go!'' And he already dragged him along.

As they had arrived the park, Nagisa's eyes were sparkling with excitement.

''Whooa. Its been a while here!'' He exclaimed as Makoto had pulled his arm back. ''Doesn't bring this back memories? Whoa...''

Makoto only nodded, looking a little bit around. It indeed brought back memories. ''So, uh, what are we gonna do here?'' He asked.

''Huh?'' Snapping out of thoughts, Nagisa blinked and turned to Makoto. ''Oh- uh...'' He then gave a shrug. ''I don't know... I just felt like going here, that's all. Urhm... we could go sit somewhere and be lazy?'' Makoto looked kind of dull at that, but then sighed and nodded. Well, it was better than nothing.

''Alright, sure. Let's do that.'' He gave a small nod in agreement and they stepped over to a huge tree to sit against to.

Minutes of silence was there as not a word was being shared. Actually this quiet moment felt pretty nice.

''Say, Mako...'' Nagisa started as he decided to break the silent. ''Do you remember how we always tried to climb in trees, but most of the time failed? Especially when we tried to climb in this big one here.'' A patted lightly the huge tree they were sitting against to.

Makoto glanced over to the blonde, then to the tree and then back to him again. ''I do..'' He replied. ''It were pretty much fun times.'' He chuckled softly as the memories got back to him.

''But, really. I actually have to tell you something.'' Nagisa paused for a moment, staring down to his own knees and then back up. ''The reason I wanted to go here is... is because I wanted to be alone with you.'' He admitted, not facing the other whatsoever.

Makoto stared at the blonde boy, confused a bit about what he was trying to say.

''...I love you, Mako. Not an 'I love you' as in friends, but as in more than that.'' He then finally looked at him. ''I love you.''

This made Makoto's eyes widening in surprise. He hadn't seen that coming. He hadn't expected Nagisa to say that to him. But to be honest, he was glad about to hear the confession.

''I love you, too, Nagisa.'' He then replied, smiling a bit at the younger.

Nagisa's eyes widened at that, he couldn't believe his ears. A smile was on his face as he shifted a little tiny bit closer to Makoto. ''I'm... glad.'' He slowly said.

''So...makes us this more than friends?'' Makoto asked.

''Uhm... if you want to..?''

''I'd love to.'' He smiled, wrapping an arm slowly around his new boyfriend.

''But, are we going to tell the others?'' Nagisa asked, looking up.

''Hm...'' Makoto was thinking a little, then he shook his head. ''Meh, let's keep it to ourselves for a little while.''

They both smiled and chuckled a little at that, giving each other a peck on the lips as they whisper an 'I love you' to each other.
