Five young men danced in the lush, vibrant meadow. They matched the original choreography perfectly, each feeling light, free and happy as they danced to songs from the High School Musical movies and My Chemical Romance.

"You're a good dancer, Patton." The purple-haired, black-clad unofficial leader of the group complimented.

"Aw! Thanks kiddo."

"Hey, you guys wanna have a dance off?" A voice asked.

Thomas turned see a girl with long, straight purple hair approaching them, along with a two-toned haired boy and two others.

"Sure." The talented man agreed.

"I'm Mal." The violet-eyed girl introduced himself, extending a hand.

"Thomas." The man replied simply, shaking her hand.

"This is Carlos." Mal placed her hand on the black and white haired boy's shoulder, who smiled shyly.

After the groups introduced each other, the dance off began. Thomas noticed Mal and her friends preferred High School Musical songs over My Chemical Romance.

"So…. why all the High School Musical?" Thomas asked awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.

Mal laughed lightly at the young man's awkwardness, "The director of our movie, Descendants also directed the High School Musical movies.

"Really?!" Thomas asked excitedly, Mal nodded.

"Cool!" With that, the dancing continued. Virgil smirked slightly to himself, moving through the groups toward a tall, muscular man.

"Hey. Jay, right?" The black and purple hoodie-wearing man asked. The quiet man nodded silently, arms still folded across his chest. A smile slowly spread across Jay's face at Virgil's whispered request.

As Jay walked to a black radio perched atop a brown cabinet hidden by trees, Virgil walked over to stand next to a young man wearing a blue shirt and black pants. Virgil blushed faintly, sliding a hand in Logan's as HSM Three's Can I Have This Dance filled the air. Logan blushed as he realized what Virgil did and took him in his arms as the couple danced.

"I smell an OTP." Mal smirked.

"I know, had to." A short haired, pale eyed girl said beside her.

The couple danced slowly, completely lost in each other. They kissed passionately, eyes reflecting the same bittersweet sadness at knowing they could go no farther.

"I know, I know. Don't worry," The raven-haired girl said as the adorable couple glared at her playfully, "The Yoai's comin', I promise." She assured.

The two groups talked after the dance off, getting to know each other. Eventually they parted, but remained close. Thomas smiled knowing they'd be friends forever.
