A midnight phone call
A stolen kiss
A song with words meant for me
A broken down wall
Those small breaths
His chest moving up and down in a rhythm all its own
His dark locks blowing slightly in the low breeze
A shiver from me
An arm around the shoulders from him
Goosebumps on my arms show him
He slips off his jacket
It reveals a black long sleeved shirt
The jacket ends up around my shoulders

Along with his arm
My head goes to his shoulder
His head tops mine lightly
A Central Park bench
One in the morning
No talking
Just listening
To the low buzz of cars
The sound of small bugs singing
The comfort of silence
A kiss upon my cheek
I look up at him
He's looking down at me
A small movement
A chaste, long, perfect kiss
We break slowly
He leans his forehead against mine
I move my hands from my lap to his chest
A short kiss
Only a fraction of a second
His arm moves back around my shoulders
One of mine moves to play with the end of his fingers hanging from my shoulder
The other moved to hold his free hand
And we talk
About everything
And anything
The moon lights the sky in the most alluring way
Our voices stop
A comfortable silence sets in their place
I silently stare at the trees running down the path
Leaves of one million colors are beginning to dust the ground
The bright summer grass is beginning to turn to a dark autumns grass
A black figure walks by
His arm tightens around my shoulder
His hand squeezes mine gently
A gust of wind
My hair flies to tickle his cheek
A smile graces his features
And I smile back
He lets go of my hand
He reaches into his jacket pocket
An elastic
He smiles knowingly
I laugh
I confine my hair to the elastic
He holds my hand again
He looks into my eyes
I look into his
Grey meets Green
His eyes pull me in every time I look at him
The dark green just fits against his tan skin and black hair
His smile is what really draws me to him
The perfect way of how his cheeks move up in the slightest of ways
How his lips seem to hold a secret
And how it, just a bit, slides up a bit more on the left of his face
He has the perfect smile
His smile just meant for me
I lay my head against his shoulder once more
My hand drops from playing with his fingers
I smell him
Genuinely him
The smell of the sea

And Ivory soap

And Bounce Dryer Sheets

With just a hint of chocolate chip cookies
The smell always got to me
It should have smelled horrible
But yet
It didn't
I didn't understand how four completely different things
Could smell so delectable

I moved my free hand slowly to his neck
Four beads sat upon the necklace
I fingered them slowly
Tracing each one with the pad of my finger
From his neck my hand wandered to his hair
His hair was like silk
It felt amazing between my fingers
I loved the feel of the hair at the nape of his neck
When I would wrap my arms around his neck
As he kissed me tantalizingly slow
He looks at me curiously
And I smile at him
He lets go of my hand
He reaches up and steals my hand from atop his head.
He laces his fingers through mine
He still looks at me
Expecting something
I just smile and shrug
I kiss his cheek
He smiles at me
That perfect smile
The one meant just for me
He hugs me close
And whispers in my hair
Three little words
Okay not little words
The biggest words in the world
The three words every girl longs to hear
I smile into his shoulder
And whisper back
Those same three words
In the back of my mind I knew he knew that it was him all along
And maybe in the back of his, he knew it was me too.
