This is just a little one-shot that came to my mind. I wanted to get it out before it disappeared.
I don't own Twilight or any of the characters.
"A woman is like a tea bag, you can not tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water."- Nancy Reagan
"Stupid ass jerk face. Son of a bitch," I sucked the blood from my finger and hopped on one foot. Don't you hate when you hit you baby toe on the edge of something, it hurts like a bitch right? On top of that I had cut my finger cutting these dumb potatoes.
"Whoa calm down there Beta," Jacob was clearly amused at me looking like a complete idiot. I threw a glass at him, luckily he seen it coming because it was aimed for his big rock head. "Ok, take it out on me." There is that dumb ass grin.
"Jake shut the hell up! I am trying to make us something to eat. Unless you want me to fry you in this skillet potatoe head, shut up," I turned back to the skillet with frying potatoes.
"You know you should really try to be nice for once Leah," Jacob said leaning against the counter. I glared at him.
"And you should look in the mirror once in a while. You look like shit today, did you even brush your hair," I ruffled his wild short hair.
'Hey, hey, hey don't go there with me Clearwater. I am a sexy beast," Jacob flexed his muscles and smiled. I laughed sarcastically.
"You are so vain Black. It's kind of sickening how you are so in love with yourself."
"Well because no one else will love me," Jacob poked his lip out and laid his head on my shoulder. I pushed him off.
"You have the Ice Princess," I replied sarcastically.
"She is only two Leah. She does not know what love is," Jacob stated.
"Ok well at least you know you have someone in the future," I poured the grease off the potatoes and emptied them into a paper towel covered bowl. Jacob reached for one and I swatted his hand.
" Leah you never know what the future holds. Someone out there wants to love you."
"Please Black. Don't try to sugar me up," I smirked.
"You put on this façade all the time Leah. Stop playing that tough girl," Jacob was serious. I looked away to avoid eye contact with him.
"Lee just talk to me. It's not good to bottle stuff up."
"Jacob I don't have anything to say okay," I liked to keep all my emotions bottled up. I liked being the tough girl. If I sat up here and told Jake how I felt, I would cry.
"Leah." His tone sounded so sincere .
"I loved him. Never thought I would find that guy who would steal my heart. He understood me when no one else would and he listened. Now fate has taken him away from me and I am alone," I felt a tear leak from my eye and I quickly wiped it away.
"See it feels better doesn't it," Jacob asked me stealing a potatoe from the bowl.
"A little I guess. But none of this leaves this house," I warned Jacob. My tough girlness was kicking back in.
Jacob wrapped his big arms around me, "Leah you are not alone. You have me, your mom and Seth."
"Thanks," I stated letting his scent fill my nose.
"You are one strong tea bag."
"Wait. What did you call me," I broke away from the hug and punched him in the chest.
"My mom used to say you always find out how strong a tea bag is when you put it in hot water. The Sam situation is the hot water and you are the tea bag. You went through all this stuff with Sam, but you are still standing strong. Well strong in your eyes is torturing everyone, but you don't mope around," Jacob replied.
I smiled and hugged him again.
Please review my loves! :P
